World of Tanks streamer dies during 24-hour Twitch marathon

World of Tanks streamer Brian “Poshybrid” Vigneault died from unknown causes on February 19 after streaming for 22 hours. He was 35 and a father of three.
Vigneault was streaming to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Vigneault would spend multiple days in the same week streaming for upward of 20 hours. The charity stream was the culmination of one of those weeks.
According to stream moderators (via PVP Live), Vigneault got up to go smoke roughly 22 hours into his stream, at around 3:30 AM CST. Initially, viewers assumed he’d fallen asleep. The next day, however, a friend saw him on Discord and sent him a message. The person who responded wasn’t Vigneault. Instead, it was a detective from the Virginia Beach police department, who said they were investigating Vigneault’s death.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
Gee I wonder how the media will spin this . It will be completely the fault of gaming - nothing to do with poor eating habits, alcohol, fast food and smoking. No no. I think a lot of people have stayed up for more than 24 hours - you don't die from it unless you're pretty weak and in poor health and even then ... . When I got a serious throat infection, I generally can't sleep for days due to being unable to breathe and I'm still alive.
He was nearly always online "i only need 3-4 hours of sleep a day". First time I saw him streaming I already though he looked so wrecked and that was even before he started his "nosleep streams".

World of Tanks enCore demo is now available and lets you test the game’s brand new graphics engine

Wargaming plans to upgrade its graphics engine and bring new numerous graphical effects to it. And today, the team released a tech demo via which PC gamers can test this new graphics engine of World of Tanks on their machines.
The new graphics engine for World of Tanks is called Core Engine and will add new shading features as dynamic dirt, dynamic wetness, advanced material blending and vertex animation, particles improvements, as well as water deformation. Moreover, Wargaming will substitute almost all map elements — such as terrain, water, flora, lighting, shadows, buildings and other objects — with new ones, developed from scratch.
The switch to the new engine will happen when World of Tanks’ update 1.0 hits the Internet. Wargaming has not revealed when this will happen, however we’ll be sure to keep you posted.

Looks fuckin beautiful! I wish Warthunder would upgrade it's engine as well. Used to play WOT till I got into WT and I can never go back, but this looks juicy AF.
It does look good but i won't get back to it because i don't like the maps. And i doubt that will happen ever.
Or maybe you won't because you are bad at it?
Not that I'm itching to get back either, if I find a cheap acc with plenty of T10 to buy I'll probably resume playing but cba otherwise.
I wish it was that, but i played it for a very long time and was fairly good. But the maps did get worse over the years and i never liked the city maps.
I didn't even bother to sell my account, just deleted it.
