You got it sorted yet Phluxed? I'm curious to see such a screen in practical use.

Not yet. I'm in canada, and I'm ordering from the states. I called warehouses all accross canada to see if they could get a 1080p TV and they couldn't. They delayed the order and stuff.
It'll be a couple weeks yet, but I promise Ill give pics when shes done. I HAVE to brag about it

Completely amazing. Perfect resolution, not a single dead pixil. Colours are vibrant, no ghosting whatsoever. I can't begin to describe how fantastic it is. Now, to get out of debt.

I would not even consider getting a TFT screen yet. You know why?
Because the DVI port and the TFT screens can not deliver the refresh rate required to fully utilize the 3ms or whatever they are nowadays.
A standrad TFT screen is 60hz and some are 75hz and that makes it about 12ms all the time anyway. When and if the TFT screens gets something like 85-120hz 3ms will actually be any good for gaming. So as it is right now I stick with my CRT.
Oh of course, another thing with TFT's is that most priceworthy ones were made for 1280x1024 or something like that. 1600x1200 is something I simply need. Going for a 20" TFT is not an option as only the most expensive ones actaully has 75hz and 8> ms....
Behold his GLORY! Bow for the technical master!

There are very few people who's eyes can see higher than 60hZ, so higher than 60fps really doesn't help visually.
response times under 20ms mean jack shit too.
much <3 for the CRT.

i wouldn't say that,if u try to read for 10 minutes on crt with 60hz yours will bleed like virgin,as for tft diffrence between 60-75mhz don't do jack shit cause there is no flicker even on cheapest ones

Yep, agreed on that one! TFT is much better for the eyes, no doubt...
