For me Bioshock 1. Bioshock infinite was a huge letdown, almost no exploration at all and the "passive tonics" you get are worthless, also the enviroments are not that different from each other.
But my biggest dissapointment was the lack of exploration. Oh yes one more thing: no visual upgrades on weapons, and 2 weapon limit.
So Bioshock1,2 for me, and infinte is the worst.

Bioshock 2 had a better combat, the shooting was still clunky, but the simultaneous use of plasmids and guns and the amount of gameplay options for combat did the trick. But aside of combat I find the first game superior in every aspect, story, graphics, level design, atmosphere, etc.
Bioshock Infinite was a huge letdown, the combat was garbage, the level design was boring filled with linear areas and combat checkpoints. Even the story is so freaking overrated, they had all the ingredients to make something great, religion, fanaticism, supernatural, race, and they did squat with them. Is like they were afraid people will get upset if they dive to deep into these subjects. The ending was the cherry on top of the disappointment cake, the options were limitless for the ending and they made one (1!!!!!).

1 is the best. (8/10)
3 is an inspired copy. (7/10)
2 is an uninspired copy. (6/10)

yeah, all those great things that made the 1st bioshock great for me went missing in infinte. (And I had high hopes for infinte, even bought CE, book etc...so no negative prejudice) Bioshock 1 for me was a GOTY 'cause:
Multiple enviroments (lava, medical, forest like, frozen, biolab like etc) Infinte had like 2-3
Great story, and although infinte had a great story I simply guessed the main plot of the game after playing 2 hours
Weapon upgrades and no weapon limit. infinite=2 weapon max, no visual upgrades
Tonics, Passive abilites.....Infinite has less active skills and the passive ones are somewhat pointless. (eg: when you jump off the skyhook deal more damage for 5 seconds....yeah that is very great)
Exploration, Bioshock1 had many explorable rooms which only served the purpose of "go there if you want to collect but its not necessary" infinite was a CoD like shooter in this aspect, yeah there were some hub like parts but apart from that.....You didn't had that "medical pavilion, fisheries, arcardia each with its own setting/objective" feeling anymore
But infinte had the girl AI character who had so much unique dialog and react in cool ways.....well thank you but thats the most unintresting thing for me. It would be an icing on a cake but as a main feature its laughable at best. Its like advertising a game with "look! weapons deal different decals on the walls".
And it really pains me to write these things cause it would have been so much better if they dont fuck up infinite.
I never even replayed it after finishing it for the 1st time. (And didn't even bother with those DLCs)

well i dont know really love the first one and Minerva's Den and despite its flaws I also love Infinite ... based on pure enjoynment as for second one even though it has best of the bunch gunplay ... i barely remember anything from it and overall felt forgetable... i guess for me 3 and 2 are kinda like vanilla Dark Souls 2 ... in its series its the worse one , but at the same time still highly superior to most of its genre

Gameplay is mediocre in all of them
In terms of story and the overall experience, Bioshock Infinite is vastly superior to the first two games.
The first Bioshock, however, had the best premise and the most immersive beginning of ANY Shock game.

Bioshock has a nice story & Setting.
Bioshock 2 builds on this into a much better gameplay & whole game experience.
Bioshock Infinite has basically the same story of Bioshock 2 but with a new setting & a dumb COD like shooting gameplay. There is not a single Vigor on Infinite as cool as the rapture ones.

It's freezing from time to time, mostly when tons of stuff are going on on the screen. Any fixes/workarounds?
B2 remastered, BTW

Nope, still crashes even in -dx9 mode from time to time
And it will supposedly get even worse once one gets to siren alley or whatever it's called...

Yep, even worse in siren alley and nothing seems to work (-dx9, run as admin, disable desktop composition, disable visual themes, even tried to Large Address Aware the exe )
Uninstalled, glad this shit was for free at least
