Is it like: forget everything and enjoy? or pretty descent mechanics unless you really start digging into the details?

Yup I absolutely hate listening to Danish. It sounds so fricking derp. It's like a crappier version of the 'West-Vlaams' dialect.
That being said... I still watch Danish movies because they have quite a few decent/good ones (no not those run of the mill Scandinavian thrillers )

OK Watched the film. Someone care to explain the (poor) end?
Thought it was OK enough for what it was - would have been disappointed if I'd have paid at the cinema I think.
Probably 6/10.

What's there to explain?
Spoiler: |
The loop went through thousands of iterations, with 9 sub-iterations each, but the last time in the movie he managed to record proper video log, meaning that in the next iteration they might have proper chance to end it.
Although the writers fucked up something fierce considering the looping has been going on for at least a couple of years. They mentioned that time outside the marked circle passes unaffected, how come then that the reinforcements need to be called by the merc in every instance?

How do you know that, about the video log?
Spoiler: |
We saw before how the video plays out.
I don't think there's anything suggesting that they could succeed in the next sequence. For all we know, the sequences switch between him and her remembering alternately.
The local time travel stuff kind of ruined it a bit for me. Especially the part where the machine gets turned off, and they go outside. The ground inside the area is identical to the ground outside it, and it seems the outside world didn't appear too advanced in time (clearly still at war and all).

The log that we're shown during the movie cuts before he can provide any meaningful intel, as opposed to the one re-recorded in the last scene. |
