Why wonder? If this are the specs then the port will be just another joke on MS store. Hell I don't really care much for GeOW. GeOW2 was the last one i played on my rgh360 but it was so boring and can't hardly remember anything from it. That's how dull it was. Still have to play GeOW3 but *meh* cba atm.. This one will prolly be same shit just a new edition blabla.. Imo.

Now that is how proper PC port should look like atleast in the options section, graphics look fantastic, not sure how the game itself is tho, but i liked Gears Of War 2 back in the days.

I might end up getting this as I think I have some money still on my Xbox Live account so even though I don't have an Xbox One yet, I can at least use the Windows 10 version plus it will be good to have the digital versions for the whole series from the 360 since they are all backwards compatible if I get an Xbox One down the road.

If they would have added the recent Gears 1 remaster to Steam then I would say all was fair game but since they did not I do not see them bringing this one over either.

70 euros still normal prices for physical console games here (besides the big eletronic stores have discounts on the release date, not prior if they already have it in stock and not after). but yes its too much, we as pc gamers were always used to have lower prices (back in the days it was even logical cause those cartridges were much more expensive than a few floppys or a cd) and i do not approve ms approach here, the "problem" in that case is the xbox anywhere stuff. why should they sell pc versions on the store cheaper which are playable on the xbox too? they need to lower the overall price, even if its just a normal prices of lets say 54,99 euros it would be even a slight advantage for ms in comparision to sony when it comes to aaa exclusive titles
