wait when did this multiplayer thing start appearing , i thought its singleplayer with some pseudosocial features pretty much since the announcement

Lyin' Murray always said chance of running into another player was 'very low' or 'near to zero'. Last time I checked, those statements are not the same as 'zero'.
How can this fuck be a programmer with logic like that? Oh I forget, he was lying. Personally, I couldn't care less if you can meet other players or not; I care far more about basic truths and untruths though.

The problem is that it was never intended to be a moo or a coop game so why all the stupid questions from all the stupid people about multi-player, if they want to play a moo go play it, there are enough games like that out there , don't force your shit on others. Its a unique game why make it the same as all the other games that are already out there.

Forget MMO/Coop whatever... But an MP component was always advertised.

Yes it was advertised but i think that what was advertised was that you could explore and share what you found. I personally like that you can explore the universe alone. Liked elite because of it, hate the new shit elite moo.

Haven't followed this game, but this multiplayer scam is fascinating. Especially the part about chances of running into somebody else is incredibly small. First, how could it be even possible to meet other human players, if world is procedurally generated - so everyone plays basically in different galaxy, unless you can somehow create identical world with sharable seeds.
And another issue, even if it was theoretically possible to run into another player, wouldn't odds of that happening increase as more people get closer to the center of the galaxy which is, if I understand it correctly, the main objective of the game?

You understand that there is more than 1 galaxy, right? It's not necessary all people to be in one galaxy. It's even highly possible, that you are alone in that galaxy.

EVeryone starts in the same galaxy (Euclid Galaxy)
God that guy annoys me to no end. In his tweet he dont even answer the question about why the 2 players didnt saw each others.
I'm so glad I wont be buying this game, even if it's good. Shaddy devs can go fuck themselves
