That shows thinking on behalf of the french that is more advanced and less enslaved to the corporations than anything we'll see stateside in the forseeable future. I think this sort of action on behalf of the government should be rewarded, as it focuses on the interests of the people, rather than on fattening the grossly bloated wallets of IP holders. If these sort of laws were to keep getting passed, we might even find ourselves living in a society where the government's primary role was to protect, rather than tax, ignore, and repress, the non-billionaire majority of its citizens.

lol... this is only on paper... here in holland there are so many warez servers that it isn't funny any more and filesharing means P2P so expect some french were are the torrents topics
