Some people do drugs (other than alcohol) and some don't... Those who do are dumb and those who don't are smarter. Those who don't do any drugs are the smartest.

Why cant we discuss drugs? we discuss being drunk, aids, rape, murder, politics, religion, law and everything else under the sun...so why not drugs?
If u dont like the discussion or the topic, dont read and post, simple as that.
I dont understand some ppl's strong hatred for it. I dont know if yall (not specifically you Kos, in general) been brainwashed by your parents, teachers, family, tv etc and thats why there is such an aversion to it, but its weird.
Like, its fine if you dont do drugs, but why come down on those who do? Its different if someone is a junkie and is destroying themselves (in whatever way) and causing problems. but I dont understand the resentment to recreational, no addicted, drug users. |

But when I fall in love with someone I am not getting the "high" feeling from something that is not produced by the body. It is the body itself that makes it. Totally different IMHO.

I never thought that such "ignorant" post would stop you from talking about drugs. It's just that I have this need to complain about something daily... 
Talk about whatever you want but count on me being there saying negative things whenever it is about drugs.

Lemme ask you this tho. Whats your story? Like why is it u dislike drugs so much? or is it a specific drug? And do u consider alcohol a drug (it is)? do you drink? |

Sure I drink sometimes... It's not like I am going out every weekend and getting drunk as fuck or going to a party every now and then. I am just not that kinda person.
I am aware of the fact that alcohol is a drug but I do consider it pretty harmless in limited amounts (as with most things). Sure I can go with my buddies and take a few beers a weekend and have a good time but I do not feel the urge to get drunk as I can have as fun, or even funnier, without it too. Sometimes though I feel like getting real drunk and then I do that (however I do not create any threads on nForce about it  ). But I do not drink alot and rarely gets more than a little affected by the alcohol.
The reason I am anti-drug is that a friend of mine got into an addict... Was kinda sad to see how she tricked her family into lending her money so that she could buy drugs, stealing cars from her friends, stole money and so on. After a while her mother kept hiding her wallet because everytime she saw it she would steal money from it.
The first time (before we found out that she was an addict) she said that she wouldn't do it again and actually paid back some of the money she had lended. So we all thought it was over but it wasn't. She stole a car from one of my friends and was totally gone for about 2months. Never answering the cellphone and was nowhere to be found. Then she suddenly came back and asked for more money. Nobody would lend her so she went away again. Hadn't seen her in about 1 year when I met her a while ago. I can tell you she was in a really bad shape. Very sad because I really liked her as a friend before she started doing drugs.
Now you might think "but that chick must have been doing some heavier drugs". Sure she did, but her first contact with drugs was in Berlin on a trip and she tried some weed some american guy had. Don't know what happened then but she smoked weed a little now and then and for some reason took the step to heavier stuff.
That is why I am anti-drugs. Sure if you are 100% sure you can control it (or what to call it) it might be like drinking but I still don't like it.
Now before anyone starts with "but you should've supported her and helped her with it" I can say that we all tried as noone likes seeing anyone you care about turning into an addict. But we simply couldn't do anything about it and she went of whenever she was to recieve treatmeant. So if nobody knows where she goes it is kinda hard to do something...
What saddens me the most is that we all ignored the symptoms and behaviour from the beginning and wouldn't realize what was going on. I really feel sorry for her mom as she took it real hard and had a deep depression for a while. But we did whatever we could to support her... Still very sad and I miss her as she was before things got bad...

I figured something like that and yeah man, ive had some similar experiences myself. But, from what ive found, its more the person than the substance or thing. Some ppl, instead of drugs, turn to say gambling or thrill seeking when they find themselves in need of something but dont know what. So they experiment and yeah, it can be very dangerous if ur the wrong type of person.
But many many ppl, can control what they do in terms of drugs, thrill seeking, shit that is dangeorus or harmful.
And yeah, there is nothing you can do really if she's good at hiding her problem. Well, maybe the next time u see her, try to find out where she is staying and get her family together, along with the cops and some rehab personelle, go grab her and stick her in a closed door rehab centre.
One of my buddy's had to do that for his dad recently. Seems to be working and his dad has been to other rehab programs before, which didnt work. |

Well some people maybe can control it but I am not gonna take the risk or let anyone I love take the risk. Perhaps you have good control over but how can I know that my best friends has? My little sister? What if they gets real deep into the shit the first time? No I have seen it happen to one person I care about and that was more than enough...
I will remember your tip the next time I see her. perhaps that can help her out of her situation. Only problem is that here in sweden it ain't easy keeping people like that. Fucking sucks... Good tip though...
