But no idea what to get...
Birthday on Wednesday, got about 200 quid to spend courtesy of the almost-wife, but I am struggling to find something to get
Probably something gaming related, but I can't settle on anything. I'm buying a Vive (probably) next month so that's something to keep in mind.
Ideas would be appreciated.

Bwoah... if you're really without ideas: My mobo,cpu and ram could use an update. The 5/6 years in use is starting to show.

Interesting suggestions....
I dunno.. I'm not usually in such a position Previously I wanted a wheel, which I got. I can't afford VR yet, but I was kinda interested in a UltraWide monitor... or a Saitek X52 Pro... new RGB Mechanical keyboard... even a Nexus 5X phone.
But nothing is jumping out at me and shouting 'You NEED me!'.
This is not good.

Haha, had the same problem with my bday. Ended up with a CPU cooler since the stuff I really needed or wanted was too expensive anyway xD

I'd go with the #saveit as well, it's nice to have a decent fund available in the future for when you'll instantly feel that desire to buy/do something that makes you go in awe. Maybe not now, but it will happen, and you don't want to be caught unprepared*
*in order to avoid the worst feeling ever, when you crave for something and you can't afford it. This is valid only if the thought is a reasonable one though! xD |
