Hi. Does anyone know whether the first season of Miami Vice will be ripped by some group? And while we are at it, anyone got any information on whether R2 version of the DVD's is going to be released?

It's already ripped by MFM. Same with season 2. Remember that there is no point in asking when something is getting released. Read the rules.

Dat young Olmos! 
Video transfer is good, but that 80s sound lackluster mix is terrible. Weapons have no oomph, just like anything from that era. It's down to the recording equipment of the time, being pretty much mid heavy but no low or high frequency.
