Finished this today.... I must say the end is very underwhelming. Especially the final boss - so badly designed and uninteresting encounter. It's easily the worst boss I fought from all three Dark Souls games.
Otherwise the game was a blast! Some locations are just gorgeous, but yeah...when ending is such a shit it really disappoints.

I beat it today too but the fight was kind of anticlimactic...I summoned two people to help, one turned out to be a hacker that was invincible and was damaging the boss just by standing near him.

Cut content partially restored via Cheat-Engine.
(You take a existing item and change it's model ID so it has the appearance of a different item, trying to spawn in the cut item itself results in a corrupt object that can't be used.)
(Heavy Knight and Burial Knight set looks really good.)

Can't be worse than Bed of Chaos, surely?
Haven't done the final boss of DS3 but so far the worst boss was Ancient Wyvern for me:

Currently in the Irithyl Dungeon (40hours in) - how much do you estimate do I have left? Getting kinda tired of the game, combat is particularly monotone this time around (R1 spam ftw).

Depends on how many Lords of Cinders you killed already (there's not necessarily fixed order) and if you want to access any optional areas.
Here is nice diagram of flow of zones if you want to see which you already visited/cleared and which you have left...

The game has a fantastic soundtrack. Clealry my favorite OST along with Witcher 3 OST in the last couple of years. A good soundtrack adds a lot to the atmosphere imho
Good stuff .

Someone made an album of close-up shots for every enemy. Interesting to get a good look at them, but it also shows how awful the textures really are.

So i was invaded by some guy with super fast light attacks and lags is this the spammers you guys talk about?
Just hid like statue and guy left lol
Edit: Tried to fight the next one he killed me on with like 20-30 health left. Input lag is really big. Makes the battle kinda rng based.

It's not their fault that r1 attacks are the most effective ones in this game though
PS I once cast iron flesh pyromancy that makes all your attacks uninterruptible + adds a lot of damage absorption and crushed a spammer who didn't know about the effect of this spell like a fly
PS So far (just one boss left alive, the very last one) my favorite boss is Nameless King . The area, the boss , dat dragon and his rider.. beautiful, men, beautiful.
And imho Dragonslayer Swordspear is one of the best boss weapons in the game.Pretty good damage and dat special attack! Although I'm not sure what would be it's damage if you faith is low.

Last boss was shit. I see him ranking pretty high on "hardest boss fights in DS3" yet i killed him the first time, no problems, no deaths. It an fight that was waaaaay too easy, and simply boring. It was just a fight against a guy. It's dark souls, give me some freaky monster instead.
Edit: Ok, i know the final boss of the others haven't been any different, but first game was difficult cause he was fast as lightning and i had to learn parry. Second game's final boss was a fun fight, although it was easy.

And that's what I find brilliant about it. The Soul of Cinder is a deific manifestation of all the lords that have linked the flame, including all the chosen undead, way back to the first one, Gwyn himself. And you can see all of that in the way he looks and fights, where he wears kind of a knight set (which is what's been chosen for each game's promo character I guess), but it's all twisted and fights in every style pretty much. Reaching phase 2 he goes into Gwyn's fighting style. I actually saw the boss on a stream before I got to play the game and the moment I heard the melding of the new boss's theme song with Gwyn's theme song and saw the way he fights I couldn't quite contain myself. It was fucking cool!

The last boss is easy, but his difficulty varies a little based on what forms you get in phase one. The difficulty is random with many of the bosses that have a ton of abilities, since sometime they use the most annoying abilities on you and other times they go dumb mode.
A good example is Dragonslayer Armour, he's pretty tough but if he uses the ground lightning strike you can hit him like 4-5 times during that. If you get that ability twice in a fight, that boss becomes a cakewalk.
