Well, it seems that Games Workshop is pushing the companies to use other, lesser known/popular settings from War40K. We have two Space Hulk games with a third incoming, a TBS set in the Armageddon world and a possible Necromunda. Can't see why Gorkamorka won't make it , eventually. After all they pushed Mordheim from the fantasy Warhammer in front.

"Discipline an heretic and he´ll be loyal for a moment.
Put im to the flame, and he´ll be loyal for the rest of his life"

Bring it on, there are mutants to cleanse.
In Is name let none survive.

Very Happy

I understand those Terminator armors are fucking heavy, but just watching the video how slow your characters moves (and the constant vertical head bobbing) make me sick Surprised

I guess it looks good, but man, Space Hulk-anything looks so cramped. Give me a big battlefield with this 40k stuff.

Facepalm.

Kids these days... Space Hulk is and is supposed to be cramped, because it's about frikkin space elite commando troops battling hordes of genestealers on Hulks (giant space wrecks of many derelict ships sort of fused together).

Spaceships = cramped, hence space hulk enviroments = cramped.

Capiche?

I said Space Hulk-anything looks so cramped. Tell me where the fuck I wrote something not a fact, fucktard. Also "Opinions".

If they were smarter they'd make a 40k game with more open areas. Terminators suck ass, they're the most boring slow-ass unit ever. Give me a mobile space marine with jump-jets to play around with, or let me be a Dreadnought just powering through shit.

You like hunkering down in a corner shooting stuff coming at you in a corridor, that's your playstyle and preference. I want to move around and see other things than corridors.

I love the 40k setting so this to me is a complete waste. TO ME. It is a waste.

"Capiche"

Hahaha.. fuck me.

I really really hope this ends up being good. After playing E.Y.E I'm really interested to see what they do with it. Not to mention warhammer is boss and not enough good games are made for it. Plenty of shite ones though Twisted Evil

I'm really looking forward to this.

I liked Space Marine a lot and have been waiting for another good single player action game from this franchise.

Gameplay in higher quality (maybe the off-screen source) http://www.gamepro.de/playstation/spiele/ps4/space-hulk-deathwing/videos/51340,87612.html with German commentary. I've no clue what they are talking about - the game probably Very Happy - so if anyone gets something interesting out of that, I'll gladly read.

Quote:
According to the interview, the game’s solo campaign will take players around 10-15 hours to complete. While playing through the campaign, you’ll have three AI controlled companions to help you along the way. If you choose to play the game through multiplayer, the developers noted that the game is more action focused and will omit the cutscenes from the game that you’d see while playing the game solo.

Francois Detemmerman, a developer at Streum On told GameWatcher, “Depending on the player, it will last for 10 to 15 hours. Each of the nine levels takes a bit over an hour to complete, so an hour and fifteen for each one. The end levels are particularly hard, so the whole game should last a long time.”

There will also be plenty for players to find in the game in regards to extra story material as there’s tons of lore involved in the Warhammer/Space Hulk universe.

“There is a lot for the player to read about,” Detemmerman said. “I have to say, if you are talking about the lore, it is something we have worked very closely with Games Workshop on. This was to make sure the history we present is consistent throughout. If you are the type of player who is looking for a rich background to their game’s setting, I think you will find a lot here to please you.”

One of the few Warhammer franchise games, that actually looks like fun.
That video also reminded me of Republic Commando, which i really enjoyed.
