Firefox has many features like chrome, however there are only some I miss.

There are just too many bugs or things I miss about chrome.
I decided to change back to Chrome now.

Only thing for which I still keep Google Chrome Portable around is whenever I need to translate websites. Anything else Firefox just does better and surprisingly performs better under normal circumstances. Of course when there are billions embeded videos or images, firefox struggles.

Haha, yup.. works here.. even hovering over a hyperlinked version causes that tab to crash. What a bizarre and random bug. Shame the guy that discovered it didn't get his bounty though Sad

Guys, anyone is experimenting some weird graphic issue with chrome? It started on Friday for me. Running chrome makes some visual glitches in form of lighting pixels on windows 10 (2D).

and when running some 3D games, the glitches appear not only in 2D (by messing with fonts for example), but also in 3D, with random lightnings and corrupted forms that come and go.

Witcher 3 started to crash also, at random, with the message "Nvidia driver did crash and has recovered".

No chrome open, no problem at all...

It is only me? Don't know yet if it is something related to chrome, to win 10 or to the nvidia drivers or a mix of 2 or 3 of the above.

In fact, i've concluded that was chrome with trial and error.

Anyone else lost the spellcheck language switcher from right click context menu?
I now have to go all the way into settings to be able to switch between Dutch and English....

I have to agree with people here.

Firefox is too shitty and too often does it render pages wrong somehow.

Chrome is also shit and eats a fuckton of memory. I had to upgrade to 16GB cause I multitask a lot... Had too many "out of memory errors" if I had Chrome with tabs open and playing something like Armored Warfare which hogs up system memory nicely aswell.

But there just isn't a better alternative imo, atleast Chrome seems to render every page properly.

I use Opera browser.
I have Vivaldi, Chrome, Chromium, few versions of Firefox, Maxthon, but they all suck ass. [Firefox wont play hd YT videos for me] Opera is also not perfect, but its the best. All browsers suck these days, cuz they put all the crap they can think of and it just drains system memory pretty fast.

All of a sudden, my Flash has started completely freezing on Chrome, no site works if it has any flash content at all with the plugin enabled.
Tried to reinstall it, no luck. Works fine as long as I disable the flash plugin.

Any known fixes for this shit?

EDIT: It seems my clocks had become unstable, bump in voltage fixed it.

Did you delete and reinstall the flash plugin?

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

Beta, named after the second letter of the Greek alphabet, is the software development phase following alpha. Software in the beta stage is also known as betaware. Beta phase generally begins when the software is feature complete but likely to contain a number of known or unknown bugs. Software in the beta phase will generally have many more bugs in it than completed software, as well as speed/performance issues and may still cause crashes or data loss. The focus of beta testing is reducing impacts to users, often incorporating usability testing.

Enabling material design in chrome://flags brings out the new look and it looks to be working very well in latest Chrome Wink

Also. To access the new design in Settings is chrome://md-settings

Downloads page has changed also.

The changes are fairly minimal at first glance, but the browser now uses square edges on tabs rather than rounded ones and ditches the ‘hamburger’ menu for three dots instead. The buttons animate when clicked using small explosions from under your mouse.

It also redesigns the infobars, security icon and bookmark buttons.

Smooth scrolling is now enabled by default, but is easily turned off in chrome://flags.

Applies to Google Chrome 49.0.2623.75.

Does anyone know of a plugin/extension that will allow me to move the task bar buttons around? I want to move them all to the left of the search bar, but cannot find anything that will allow that. I would have thought it would be like Firefox and allow for customisation.

Thanks
