In may last year I began working in a home for disabled people, 7 of them in the house. Everyone have thire own apartment with kitchen and all. Some need help with most others just see us once a day to get thire food box.

Now since I started I have seen how staff mistreated the residents. Most of my colleagues have worked there for 20 years.

In August we got a new boss. Totally new in this line of work. And getting a new boss is nothing new to thees people, during the 20 years they worked there they had a new boss 15 times. But this boss saw the problems and wanted to change how we worked.

So between now and August I met my boss several times to inform her what is going on at work. I saw something severe once reported it and got the person suspended. She is back now and we talked but she now hates me and are afraid to talk to me.

Staff at the home invited thire own doom then they ask for help handling a particular resident in the home. The inspector noticed the odd behavior in the staff and started investigate the entries establishment.

The result of that and some other information lead to the total split of the workforce. Everyone is getting moved to an other workplace.

My bitchig here is why me. Why do I have to move. My colleagues understood I talked to the boss and they bullied me for months but I staid. I was offered several times to be moved somewhere else. But I staid and help the residents and they like me. So why do I have to move, I'm part of the solution not the probelm.

Meeting with a HR guy next week and fixed a meeting with my boss as well. Everyone also got invited to a meeting to talk on what we done good and what need improvement, and I worked with the people who have thees meetings. So basically every meeting I have about this split are held by people I worked with to make this home better.

Why me.

When something is rotten they usually want to do a full reset. It's shitty, but try to not take it personal.
Even though you did nothing wrong, you never know what your disgruntled co-workers have said about you so it might be that you are as tainted as they are now.

Hope in the end it still works out for you. Smile

That is the thing, they refused to work with her. One of my coworkers had a planed meeting with her but it got canceled she did not know and went anyway. Back at work she got attack instantly as she had talked to the boss. This coworker (let call her Linda) after this meeting also worked with the boss, but in a small scale.

Everyone els refused to talk to our boss even on work related issues from time to time. They repeatedly in and put of her presence said they have no faith on here as out boss. And if the latest rumor are true they were looking on to ways to have her removed.

I served in the military in an elite unit and the situation was really tense. I found myself in a position of relative "power" and used it to punish the slackers and those that thought they had friends higher up, while trying to be fair and true to the service. But still, many of the guys ended up hating me, especially a bunch of 19-year olds that shouldn't have been there in the first place.

They were talking behind my back for months and after we finished our service I noticed their disdain against me on facebook of all fucking things. A year or more later, fucking bitches the lot of them. Of course most people were alright with me but it's the vocal minority that can grind your gears, especially not face to face. Fucking FB sissy boys.

Bottom line is: It's easy to be "liked", all you have to do is turn a blind eye to the bullshit, ally yourself with your coworkers against the big bad boss/employer/officer and be a part of the pack.

1) Do you want to be liked, or to actually be the person you strive to be?
2) If they believe you are an asshole but you yourself are certain you acted in a righteous way, then believe in yourself, not the assholes. Doesn't matter if it's 5-6 of them against you.

I have for a long time now doubt my self and if what I'm doing is th right thing work psykiatrisk and my boss all said I was right in what I was doing. Hearing time and time again that I'm doing the right thing and still get this. That I have to move.

It is not fucking fair. I'm angry, sad and confused. I'm starting to feel depressed. I hate feeling this way. I'm seconds away from crying most of the time.

I can take that my coworkers bullied me but this from my boss after all I done feel like such betrayal. And it hurt me deeply.

Well, confront them in a civil way. Just don't start crying like a lesbian when discussing the problem Laughing

Tell your boss directly that you are the most dependable person there.

Had my meeting with HR. I'm getting moved alright. But I have come to accept it. I was also given some insight into an older investigation from 2008. The issues from then could be used to describe the workplace today, they had the exact same issues now. So it is not my fault.

Try to keep the bigger picture in mind, and to be proud of yourself. Hopefully the quality of the situation is going to vastly improve for these folks, in large part due to your efforts to help out and do the right thing.

Consider this case closed, a victory! Now, perhaps, you get to move to a new situation and go improve that one. Smile

Have now had my meeting with my boss. Befor the meeting I had a phone call from an old coworker (who was bullied out of my current workplace) she now works at an other of my bosses establishments. They had an opening at a night shift. I ask NY boss about it, she said I will have to move on even from her to get a real new start. And I'm okay with that.
