In a public car (a cheap taxi that follows a route like a bus) its a registered route and car. Good. 8PM.
Me and the driver, im right behind him, and some guy waves him to stop and pick him up (yea u wave, they pick u up, they fit 6 people in there) get in the front seat...
Tall black guy, afro, cheekbones showing, nervous..... not good.... we are not in a lonely route so im hopeful.... well the guy starts asking shit and talking a lot.... and i got the feeling that was it. I was gonna get mugged. In a fucking safe route car... i hide the phone and get the wallet ready to give it up.
He starts talking about not being good to steal around here, about being on the run, starts getting close to the driver and asking him for his money (they are poor people who spend 16 hours a day in a car making piss money) and look at this. Saying he has a gun and not to start shit.
Well he took his money, he wanted more, the driver didnt want to, he started getting angry, i pull some 10 bucks out and tell him to take a taxi home blablabla. He starts saying we are good guys and bails.
Are u fucking serious. Noone else wanted a ride, no cops... tsk... At least i kept all my stuff and he didnt go nuts. Soooo 50/50?

Oh wow! First thing to my mind is how are taxis allowed to pick other people on your ride? Splitting money or not, it's dead fvck dangerous.

I didnt want this motherfucker getting angry or desperate. Im not gonna get stabbed for money. Or because the dumb driver wanted to be brave.
Anyways yea they are called Public Cars, beater 90s cars that people get in like a bus, its cheap and "safe" safe my fucking ass ill never take one again. There are pirate cars (not registered in the routes) which are unsafe as fuck. But this one was a route car. Oh well
Now im going around in my race car until i can buy a normal car.
Also today the minister of police said "high crime rates are just a perception of the public, its completely afar from reality"
Oh the fucking irony
