It felt kind of rushed but I guess that's the consequence of only having a 6-episode season.

Well that was a load of bullshit. Enjoyable bullshit though I have to say. Quite surprised they kept the original titles after all this time too.

 Spoiler:

There's only 6 episodes to season 10? Or is there a mid-season break?

They did?! This is very surprising. Least they should do is update the shot of the agents storming in that room to reflect how they look now.

I'll watch it later.

Well, they did they best to try to portray Mulder as an incoherent, babbling conspiracy theorist Laughing I wanted to slap him during the later conversation with Scully; SHIT MAN START MAKING SENSE! Laughing

It was enjoyable, tbh i was expecting them to modernise the show a little. This is straight 90's x-files complete with over the top synths start to finish. The dialog is pretty , after seeing Gillian in The Fall I'm surprised she reprised this role.

David Duchovny acting skills Laughing

I wasn't sure if I was watching Fox Mulder or Hank Moody to be honest.

Don't get me wrong, I still loved it, the feeling of nostalgia is unbelievable, just to have new episodes of this show made is amazing in and of itself.

But this isn't some masterpiece. I think reviewed outside of said nostalgia this is like...a 6-7/10.

Still, fuck it, it's X Files and its back!

i liked it and i hope it will stay on this level. don't wan't another season 5,6,7,8 or 9.
but im so used to the dubbed version and the german duchovny voice. the first few minutes it was like keanue reeves is trying to play fox mulder.

Fox Moody, the best of both worlds Very Happy Laughing . Now if only we had Runkle instead of Joel McHale's character!

But in all seriousness, the thing that I appreciated the most is the fact that they're staying true to the ol' X-Files-y atmosphere without unnecessary hollyomphness. It's new but vintage as hell..which is good in my opinion.
The writing in general could have been better, but it's only the first episode and some awkwardness was to be expected Razz

in that case please dont wait for the german version (think it starts already in two weeks) but they replaced mulders voice actor

think its time for a complete xfiles rerun, in that the time the season should be finished Smile
