I find the violence a llittle over the top. Comical, to be precise. I'd prefer a Max Payne style of pseudo-realistic violence.

I am in love with the HKBO (Honk Kong Blood Opera) genre since I was a kid. I played The Opera and Specialists to death back then. Awesome times. And I miss 'em so bad - long leather trench coats, akimbo Berettas, jumping left and right, spinning Winchester like in Terminator 2, breaching rooms with sliding on your knees shooting everybody inside in slow mo.. stuff like that. Yep.. good times.

(As you dive through one restaurant after another because for some reason one of these shootouts is always in a fancy restaurant and the kitchen is completely wrecked as food and kitchen utensils scatter everywhere.)

EDIT: The game itself does look fun though, nice to see it coming along nicely and nearing a release finally.
