Its slowly getting the title of most underated game of the year if you ask me, ppl bash this left and right and its one of the most compeling MP experiences we got in recent years, at least as a FPS MP..

i guess it might be especially in my case , that i would rather get proper Tom Calancy's R6 game like Patriots was supposed to be rather than MP-only title. For me its just buriying whole history of a series to do completely different game and just using the IP. If they launched it undr different name i would be OK with it as its supposedly fun, but this way I am just sad that another loved series died and got replaced by something completely different and its potencional success will bury a chance for true sequel even deeper

It is everything you might expect from a breaching type of game, it is a much better and varied experience than say payday 2 and all those other games, its fun, its will well thought out, and the MP component gives it the dynamic this type of game needs, if your looking for a single player its just not for you or others that want one, i personaly am glad this game turned out the way it did, it has a lot of replay value, i usualy never play an fps campaign more than once... only HL games lol
Those days are long gone, today it either has a crappy mp+ SP, or it is a full long SP with boring story, or a rly short one but with few good moments, those games dont sell like they used too, they will focus on MP for the coming years, its where its at, i do love a good SP but those are reserved for the likes of witcher and others with great stories to tell.
Also, MP games kinda ensure that you get more sales, and dont get pirated to oblivion, if the game is good, ppl will buy it, i know i did, but an SP only game with a lackluster mp experience, i wouldnt spend my money on it, i just would yarr it all the way.

Lets just pretend the title is "The Six Rainbows" or "Rainbow Five" then.
I went for Warhammer Vermintide in the end. This looked all a bit derp to me with the console crossover shining through loud and clear. Maybe i'll pick it up in a sale sometime in the future though.

Only thing I really dont like is the fact that I cant just play it with a mate (Terrorist Hunt) but they force me to either invite 2 more friends or have two randoms joining. (Unless ive missed something?)
shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.

In the first beta, I remember to be able to play TH with a friend or two without bots or any other random guy :s

Cant find that option in the full version (but it might be there hidden somewhere)

Too much an over-reliance on gimmicky gadgets, combined with dumb as shit AI that's presumably only lethal due to high levels of auto-aim on the higher difficulties rather than actual tactics.
If you watch that first video at around the 6:20 mark, four or five guys literally approach from the same direction their buddy just DIED AT. Inexcusably stupid.
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

Enjoying it alot. Can't stand CS Go/Source and this one really suits my wallbanging needs.
*EDIT* The bad things about this game, the matchmaking mostly and the seemingly shitty netcode are annoying though. Gameplay itself seems pretty solid and diverse since no played round feels the same.
I hated the first beta, but I played the last beta a bit more and kinda liked it. Yesterday I installed the YAAARRR version to see how it would run on my rig, ran at 60fps+ at Ultra, so yay!
Decided to buy it afterward, gonna try it tonight!
Very spot on review. I agree with him, this is the best online fps experience to have been released in the last couple of years But I also agree that they could have priced it lower, considering there's no story/campaign.
