I'm having a great time with this so far. London is most definitely the second best setting in the series for me (the first being the incomparable Black Flag obviously Very Happy ).

Not sure what all the bitching was about visually, I think it looks pretty damned good (rain slicked streets at night, fog, etc.), and it's nice to finally be able to understand what the random civilians are rattling on about in town!

The main characters also play off each other nicely, and the famous people you encounter are all fairly eccentric.

The biggest negative in all of this being, of course, the series staple of repetitive mission types. But I can actually see myself FINISHING this one, which would be the first in a long time!

I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

cyclone shaddap and finally go back to your lair, your victim role has been played long enough and the few that actually read your posts, have to endure the quotes (albeit ignore list is in effect) or those feeling masochistic are already losing interest in conversing with you Dude Happy

well just managed to finish the game,it was ok-ish for a free download that is,wouldn't pay 10 $ to buy this not because its shit its because i just don't care anymore,i don't care about this two twins , i dont care about their father or who he was.Every single fucking game the same battle and the story just seems to not go forward.i mean since Desmond died i don't know who these modern day assassin's are ,who are the modern day templars...who am i?they jusr reffer to me by "initiate".what about those precursors and the origin of the pieces of eden shouldn't they give us more information.I tried to do some side memories and well they suck story wise, the whole game suck story wise and i feel this could have been a great story driven francise if they wouldn't milk it like crazy

Oh and damn Jacob is one empty headed brawler

There are just two, two fucking new things to use as a character lel.

The rest of the game is exactly like the others, oh sure london is pretty enough its glorious even and the history aspect/areas of the game are great but heck the gameplay is a no skill same old as before pile of code. Let us be honest here right?

@banish: I on other hand would say we are better off this "modern-day part". As for the story of the twins and the chars it so far feels quite good (especially their banter) and even more compared to bland characters like Connor or Arno

As I posted a couple of days ago I like the London setting but I'm already bored with the missions. I want more quality missions and it's obvious that Ubi is unable to deliver them. Well, I even got bored with Black Flag so idk if I'll play again an AC game. I think this was the last try.
Now give me a Sherlock Holmes London based open world game with mysteries and crimes to solve.

I didn't even know there is a DLC like this. Looks good for a change.

i don't necessarily want to play a lot of modern-day missions i just want the story to be compelling and in my opinion it would be if they would explain more about you "the modern day initiate" and the precursors and why and what are YOU doing for the assassin's cause kinda like Desmond. And yes Connor and Arno weren't to my liking either,as a matter a fact i only liked Edward. And the twins constantly argue because Jacob is a freaking moron.

The way they make the games now you don't feel like you belong in this war ,you are just an Abstergo employee or an initiate whatever that is
