A big part of the gamplay is to figure out what to do, and what not to do I think most people die at day 1-2 the first time they play.. i've survived 9 nights (on my 4:th attempt).
Haha indeed, managing to survive the winter in this game is something so rewarding that really brings a smile to your face ...but watch out, more problems will arrive soon . First rule of this game: never, ever, relax or underestimate threats!

With new playable characters, biomes, creatures and seasonal effects; Wilson and the whole Don’t Starve cast of characters embark on a sea-bound journey of exploration, adaptation and of course, starvation.
Announced back in August, the next major Don't Starve expansion will launch into Early Access on December 1. Dubbed Shipwrecked, the Early Access period will be fully playable, with "new seasons, creatures, biomes". New ways to die are also promised, which is just as well.
"As always, during early access we will be releasing regular updates containing new content as well as tweaks and bug fixes based on your input," a spokesperson for publisher Klei wrote on the game's forums. As the name suggests, Shipwrecked will have you spending a lot of time in boats, and hopefully not too much time drowning in the water outside of boats.
I enjoyed this game for a few hours but in the end it's another survival game but without the quality base building which makes my favorite survival games the most fun for me. I wonder what the expansion will add to the original - it will have to be quite inventive to stand out from the growing crowd of survival games.
