Much less stutter but VRAM leakage is still there. My 980 Ti is almost all the time at 6GB (or more) on 3440 x 1440 resolution with everything maxed except AA and blur.

good to hear. I guess my 970 will max it out in the campaign after these patches now. gonna take ages to download though.
*sad trombone* Unfortunately our 970 isn't enough to process the complex Quake 3 engine on steroids.
Even after the patch that I just installed, putting the textures on extra causes huge memory problems and stuttering due to the fact that the game uses >4GB of vram at anything above than 1080p (), and sometimes even at 1080p.
High on the other hand (with noticeably blurrier textures) doesn't give any problems, though the usage is still damn high (~3600MB) considering the fact that the game often looks like poo.
It's like pimping a Lada to death, expecting it to perform like a Lamborghini xD
Haha yeah, it could be another Batman scenario for me. Anyway, out of pure masochism and for the sake of completeness I had to play it till the end. Sweet baby Mason
By far the worst Black Ops story in my opinion, possibly on par with Modern Warfare 3's and Ghosts' in terms of involvement. A trite tropey tripe sci-fi narrative with influences from Crysis and dialogues/twists coming from a SyFy production, with lots of unnecessary huehuehue's just to make it look artificially "deeper" and 1337er. Treyarch pls!
Once again in the Cow-a-world they didn't even bother to change the setpieces, follow-and-wait-before-opening-the-door, the running straight from bayexplosions, one-button vehicle parts, the nophysics (only pre-rendered cinematic scenic effects), weapons that sound like firecrackers, AI respawning right in front of you (now officially a feature), you name it. All this in 2015, but what's the point anymore. It's like a parody of itself, a fossil of a precambrian fish (with no AI).
Also one of the most demanding games out there, which doesn't make any sense when you analyze the simplicity of what you see in terms of everything.
It's getting embarrassing to even give it a score at this point, it's like the truman show of pears xD
Indeed those moments are a trademark of the doodies. Here surprisingly there wasn't the usual dose of fuck yeamericanism, but they replaced it with sci-fi melodrama that showed interesting premises for about 5 minutes, before taking the trusty facepalm way.

Only two aerial derps? You're missing about 98.
I swear, because they designed the campaign with co-op in mind, the levels throw more shit at you than before.
The second to last or third to last mission is just an endless spam of aerial and ground drones. It was exhausting.
Yeah damn, those bastards spared no expenses!
No wonder they said it's one of the longest CoDs, it just takes more to enable the scripts that allow you to proceed. Shame on them!
These games are officially made for kids now though Ixigia, who are blissfully unaware of all the complexities and nuances of a modern fps shooter (bless em). As long as the explosions keep going boom and your comrades are wearing cool looking armour and shoot fancy looking guns they're happy. I'm actually pretty certain Treyarch are more than capable of producing a game for a more mature audience, but whether they are under orders from Activision or choose not to they'll continue to refrain from doing so as long as they keep earning profits the size of small nation GMP's .

I'm wondering, why did they even call it Black Ops? Could have been something "better" suiting like Call of Duty Techomancer or something...

Actually, one review stated that doing it in co-op throws even MORE enemies at you
The mission you are talking about was kind of strange. Enemies were respawning but they basically ignored your partner or made her invincible. I fought the drones off for about 20 minutes I think before just rushing to the door
Like the other pic where there are some military vehicles, and on the x360 only some civilian vans.
Not only a downgrade, but it also gives a completely different meaning.
Another patch was released, like all other patches for this game it uses the same vague patch notes with "Bugfixes and optimizations." but I guess it's something at least.

Many ppl having problems after this patch. Like CTD on menu, not launching online... Too bad I didn't bought this directly on steam or I would immediatly go for a refund.
Awesome - should be around feb then for pc or later, game actually this time around is fun, (then again its bops so they were all good for me) works great locked at 60fps no drops, it commits 10+gb though so with 8gb ram one has to have at least a 11gb page file, I tried it with a 4gb pagefile that I had on its own swap partition but it run out of memory even with that (same as advanced warfare really)
I don't usually play zombies on these games but this time round I think they done good. Multiplayer is a blast but the usual type of play style exists but still fun. Looks great here but not sure why when I watch peoples streams or youtube uploads the textures come across shite, must be people with kepler 2gb cards, this game was made for 3gb+ cards for sure.
holly shit! i was so depressed after getting bored with bf4 and not having any mp shooter to play so i thought i should give this game a try. SP is utter shit no surprise there but the MP is fucking awesome! havent had so much fun with so little frustration since mw1 lol. played a few hours until lvl 11 i think and so far the game seems balanced, very responsive, lag free, map verticality and the boost jumping are done just right and overall almost nothing seems overdone or cheesy. been a few years since i last played cod so maybe.. is it just me ?
edit: posted in the wrong thread ups, got the game for ps4
First COD completed since MW and I enjoyed it. The game didn't run well but with some tweaks was steady. The MP is really fun for me due to lack of cheaters so far.
I know this makes me a filthy casual but i surprisingly enjoyed this one.
