Give it a week. The furore will be over, the complainers will get bored and walk away, the game will continue on. Overkill know this and they bank on it. Just like every other consumer "revolt" (hah) that fizzles out when they realise the company they're up in arms about simply doesn't care.
It will die down,obviously,but for them to extract money from the people that got really pissed off about this, OVK will need to deliver way better content than they did the last year. I hope the deal with kicking people that use skins still stands

Have you tried putting in a ticket rather than using the automated stuff? Explain that Overkill lied and cheated their customers and that you're unhappy with the developments.

Doesn't look like it works for us in oz anymore. I just get a "Error Unable to load information about this item." in the box where steam info should be.
