play tanks you don't like in PVE
on a win you'll generally get 110% of the reputation you'll get average in PVP
but only about 50% of the credits
right now there should be a patch

The servers are down atm until the patch is applied.

Servers are up.
Just had a match with the Sheridan and either I'm good (which I doubt somehow) or the enemy team was crap. At any rate, I finished first with a shitload of XP and cash. Finally.

only advantage have russian MBTs with their HEAT rounds that have impressive alpha damage

It's kind of annoying how the devs still haven't addressed the T-72 armour issue. I remember reading about it when I started playing, and now that I've almost farmed out one, the problem still persists. All of this in 3 weeks and 3 patches later.

T-72 is just unplayable, T-72A is manageable.
T-80 is bloody golden though, something like 790 max damage on HEAT trolol

This is starting to fuckin' piss me off: whenever I'm faced off against another MBT (I play an MBT myself, usually Leos, but the same often happens with the T-72 as well), most of the time I get shitty no pen hits. WTF am I doing worng? I try not to aim at the turret and tried both HEAT and AP rounds. HE rounds do shit damage, let's forget them.
On the other hand, I get pawned in like 3 shots. Which fucking part of the tank am I supposed to aim at? If I hit the frontal hull, it's mostly ricochet, unless I'm lucky enough to hit the bottom. If I hit the tracks, it's normally just track damage or maybe immobilizing.

- learn the weakspots (turret hatch usually works for example, it's reduced damage though)
- don't expose your sides, anything above a 20° angle means auto-pen
- the t72 has bugged armor and is full of holes at the front, the leos before the leo 2 are pretty much paper

Funny thing is, I kill MBTs in 2 or max. 3 shots with the Sheridan, firing HEAT ammo. Firing HEAT from an MBT cannon doesn't do shit, on the other hand.

Nah, supposedly it has superior peentration and very high alpha damage comapred to the base T-62.
Unfortunately, the camo paint is eye candy only; it doesn't affect the camo stat at all.

i wonder why they didn't just make an optional skin for the t-62 or turn it into some sort of "light premium" like the gift tanks in WoT. it's not like the old slow-as-shit t-62 was any fun to play AND you have to grind out all the upgrades again.
