I am a bit worried that a giant orc fighting a tiny human is going to look ridiculous on the big screen. In the game the two races were more similar in size thanks to the art style.
The CGI is quite poor for what was expected and the story of Warcraft 1 is butchered in this adaptation. Durotan allying himself with the humans to stop the war and Anduin Lothar showing compassion for the orc's race, that's just lol.
I guess close ups with one eye obscured is the newest invention in Hollywood.
Bit disappointed in the quality, always thought the blizz cutscenes were great in WoW... maybe they should have gone the Final Fantasy way instead of using humanz mixed with CGI.
Ah well, this way they get overpowered Ragnar to win the day!
I don't know almost anything about Warcraft (I only played the second game back in the day), so my only reasons to be interested were the CGI and Duncan Jones. The former is already a sad trombone, if the plot and overall direction turn out to be disappointing too, it may as well unofficially join the Hobbit guild xD
sar·casm | \ ˈsär-ˌka-zəm \

2a: a mode of satirical wit depending for its effect on bitter, caustic, and often ironic language that is usually directed against an individual
b: the use or language of sarcasm
The combination of real actors and CGI/green screen stuff is really jarring in most scenes And the "orcs vs. humans" story will probably seem boring and generic to regular movie goers. Giant flop incoming.
TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"
