I did use headphones. Wouldn't matter though. There are no walls or doors that coincide with the noises here
But I see how this can be disturbing. I had something like this once, in a compilation video. The sound after one of the videos faded away slowly and then I heard someing walking on stairs and that did coincide with my actual stairs. That freaked me out for a sec
Most of them (and their "backstories") are bullshit, similar level to creepy stories told late at night at a campfire.
BUT there's no over-the-top weirdness in #4. It's real, it's not particularly spectacular and that's the scary part. The guy went too deep unprepared, didn't have enough air (REGULAR AIR at that depth... ) to both breathe and raise his buoyancy to resurface. He drowned and it didn't sound very pretty. I saw that video a couple of years ago, soon after getting my diving certificate, and it freaked me out (still does).
The sport is fantastic, but that was a really nasty way to go...
