Hand of God is penned by Burn Notice scribe Ben Watkins and directed by World War Z helmer Marc Forster.
Ron Perlman plays a powerful, hard-living and law-bending Judge Parnell Harris, a troubled father whose son P.J. (Johnny Ferro) is in a coma following a suicide attempt, spurred by being forced to witness the rape of his wife Jocelyn (Alona Tal), who is against keeping him on life support. Parnell is also cheating on his wife Crystal (Dana Delany) with a prostitute. After a religious awakening, Parnell starts having visions and hearing voices and believes that God is calling upon him to dispense vigilante justice.
I'm waiting for some mini review. Yeah it has Ron Perlman (<3) but Amazon so far had less than mediocre run with their shows.

What are you on about The After had some of the best acting and production values ever seen on the small screen.

I saw things like that in here and in other "woman problems" topics so...... Am I the only one that thinks some authorities needs to be alerted about Saner and him possibly being a rapist and/or kidnapper ?
Saner is not being serious. Unless its the subject of Santa!

Ron Perlman plays powerful, hard-living and law-bending Judge Judge Parnell Harris, a troubled father whose son P.J. (Johnny Ferro) is in a coma following a suicide attempt, spurned by being forced to witness the rape of his wife Jocelyn (Alona Tal), who is against keeping him on life support. Parnell is also a troubled husband who has few reservations about cheating on his wife Crystal (Dana Delany) with a prostitute. And even though these are both awful situations, his problems only begin there.
After a religious awakening, he begins having visions and hearing voices through his ventilator-bound son and believes that God is calling upon him to dispense vigilante justice.
Wait, fucking what?
hard living, law bending, cheating his wife with a prostitute, 2x Judge who is a trouble father of son who witness a rape of his wife, he failed at commiting suicide and now he is in coma, his wife wants him dead, anyway he is a Gods vessel transmitting visions to his father about becoming vigilante fighting for justice
PPS They have released 3 more pilots today(The Cosmopolitans S01E01 720p WEBRip x264-W4F + Hysteria S01E01 720p WEBRip x264-W4F + Red Oaks S01E01 720p WEBRip x264-W4F) but I didn't find them interesting tbh. Maybe I was wrong

My thoughts exactly after reading the premise So much drama crammed into one show. It's like they're trying to do three different shows at the same time, but Perlman only had time for one

I loved it. It was gritty, dark, fucked up, with some funny in a twisted way moments and adult-friendly:
PS The scene with the judge, the fake priest and his son in coma was hilarious and that "God wants you to be my Benaiah" scene ...haha The lead actors performance was good.
Is that supposed to be a bad thing? We only get garbage from common network channels, so i honestly don't see any issues.. Forget that, there are absolutely no issues when companies such as Netflix and Amazon takes a stab at it. We might just get something better than utter mediocrity.
Finally got round to watching this. Wow. Just wow. I was hooked right the way through. Then I went looking for episode 2 lol. Didn't realise it was one of those Amazon Prime pilot shows dammit.
The good news is I found this and Amazon have picked it up for a full season

Finished season 1. Pretty awesome I have to say. Ron Perlman was great as the protagonist, Pernell Harris. Im hoping and quite sure this will get a 2nd season. That ending seems unfinished.
Spoiler:
So PJ finally woke up at the end despite not opening his eyes and then I heard a flatline just as the credits started. Besides the Police are waiting to take Pernell in for questioning. I want season 2 dammit.
I guess if Amazon renews it, PJ will live but if they don't, he's dead lol.
I've just finished watching the first season Well, tbh I have mixed feelings about this show..The pilot was great.. The first and the last episodes were really good but somewhere in between the series seemed to have somewhat lost its pacing and these episodes lacked proper drama, interesting plots and characters, too much time was wasted on boring stuff...Ron Perlman was great as always, Dana Delany...oh boy.. dat woman, dat woman! A proper milf goddess! How old is she? Almost 60? Fuck me!Unbelievable..
Spoiler:

Garret Dillahunt was great too.
Tbh I was hoping for a more interesting turn of events but it was still rather enjoyable.
7+/10
As for a flatline
Spoiler:
either it means he died or they just disconnected him from the machine
It's actually pretty clever lol
If it gets season 2 I hope they'll get better writers..
