Quote:
It was always difficult being Harry Potter and it isn’t much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband and father of three school-age children.

While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places.

BIIIIG mistake. She forgot why her books became so popular: because of the first three (and also partially the fourth). Order of the Phoenix actually was pretty crap - the shitty death of Sirius, the very angsty and annoying behaviour of Harry, Ron and Hermione (which she corrected in the next two books after a TON of criticism) - and while the last two were pretty decent, the first ones were the ones that people remember the best it seems and for good reason.

I can't see "Harry being an adult" appealing to kids so it will mainly be for the grown-up fans of the original and if it ends up sucking ...

Yes, a fan-service for dozens of millions of those. Kids are taken care of already - there's a new spinoff book and movie.

Mmhmm but that's why I said this is a BAD idea. Look at Star Wars Episode 1 to see my point. Even the adult fans grew up loving the original books and this play will be a departure of what Harry Potter was about - sure, fans are SAYING they'd love this but I dunno, I think they overestimate how much you can do with characters that have grown up to be quite boring.

Ugh what Scratch Head Laughing SW1 was for kids not for adults, and yes - THAT was a bad idea Smile Making an 8th installment for the adult fanbase is totally correct. Why would book 8 be for kids lol
