I recently got some files that i thought i could burn to a dvd, and then watch the dvd with teh menu and stuff, cuz thats what it said on the page for the movie, but when i got it, it was a bunch of RAR files and a bunch of r31 (31 changes to 32, 33, and so on). i got this before with other movies, but i just extracted them in winRAR before, and i watched it, but is there a way to get htem to a dvd so i can have the menus and stuff?
thanks

You dont use the RAR files for the DVD, you use the files *inside* of the rar files. A RAR set (a group of rar files) is just like a .zip except there are mulitple files.. Once extracted you have the movie itself.
What file type is the actual movie?

Open one of the *.rXX files in winrar and extract.

the .img is a DVD image, it is a file which contains the an exact copy of the DVD you wish to burn. You need to burn the file "as an image" - Firstly I would download a Daemon Tools and mount the file in that to see if the DVD is correct, complete and working. As for then burning the image, Im sure you can find that information in our Applications area, or maybe someone can answer it in more detail here (I couldn't go into detail as I dont burn DVD's / CD's)

yeah, u burn the .iso or bin/cue as an image with whatever cd/dvd writing software u want - I use nero but there are a ton of good ones.
the menu's, extras etc whatever data that is in the image will be burnt correctly.
If u burn just the .vob files, it wont come out correctly.

You would have to use something like TMPGenc to convert the avi to DVD
