Too much meta/montage/abed/recycled... So nope, dropping it, ah well I'm getting used to comedies turning to shit after a few seasons. |
I agree with Morphy, just watched the first episode and these are my exact complaints about it.
Does it get better later on?
1 and 2 are still amazing.

it does yeah, but it's not the same old community anymore.
but it's not a reason to be sad or shun away from it, cuz it's still a great humorous show.

That's true. Even it's worst episode would be miles better than "The Big Bang Theory"
1 and 2 are still amazing.

Yo bitches! You know how you just ignore certain shows for ages and then suddenly start watching them? Well I've nearly finished season one and I'm really enjoying it. It's a bit cringe some times, but there are some genuine lolz and the blonde girl is hot hot hot!
Abed and the old man are so super funny, glad to see I have so many more seasons ahead too! (Even if it does get a little worse!)

Cancelled again

| Quote: | MW: Is it getting another season on Yahoo?
McHALE: No. They wanted to. But all of our contracts were up after six years. All the actors on the show, almost without exception — their stock has risen significantly and it’s out of the pay rate that is affordable to make the show. So you’re not going to be able to get Alison Brie or Gillian Jacobs at a normal television salary anymore. There is just not enough money to be able to pay for the show. |

Well, i just finished watching season six too. The finale was pretty good. The previous episodes of that season were pretty boring most of the time though.
I also hope there won't be another season. It's best to just let this show go to rest.

The feature-length follow-up will reunite stars Joel McHale, Danny Pudi, Alison Brie, Gillian Jacobs, Jim Rash and Ken Jeong.
Original cast members Donald Glover, Yvette Nicole Brown and Chevy Chase are not attached.
Series creator Dan Harmon is writing the film with former series scribe Andrew Guest. They’ll executive-produce alongside McHale, Russ Krasnoff and Gary Foster. The movie is slated to be released in 2023. |

So half of the main cast will not be a part of the movie? And someone thinks that's a good idea?

Looking forward to the movie!
Chase was always a stubborn old fart and Glover has become kinda strange and very political in recent years, so I'm not surprised they are missing.
