I haven't followed this game at all, but looking at that video is the enemy supposed to look like brain dead? I mean you just run trough the level, skip half the enemies and the other half can't figure out how to shoot you.

After 1-3 the art style and content just went to pure stupid. Every X game after 1-3 is trash.
It gets really embarrassing by X6, when X is running around with a sword, like Zero.
