It's 8 pm already and I just asked our main cracker if we should publish the v1.004 crack + save file as our first release
He insisted that we should be up to date with v1.005 and release the crack for the latest update. He also said Konami knew about our scheduled 17:00 crack release and that was the reason for the new exe update, since Konami thought they could disrupt our tempo that way. However, we will absolutely not admit defeat at this point, so if we wanna publish anything, we'll release the crack to their just-released v1.005. This will show Konami that continuously releasing new exe files doesn't affect our cracking progress at all. Damn little Japanese company, if you wanna fight, we'll stand our ground!
Therefore, we can only wait a little longer, the main cracker says crack for v1.005 is almost complete anyways.

I can have Quiet as a buddy but the door is still shut. Saw it only once with blue as I left with the chopper and figured I can come back after the mission but nope...

A quick question please folks, in the following vid. If you skip to 2:30 (don't worry about the rest of it.) you can customize weapons, or more specifically individual components of the weapon. Is this in the final version of the game?, because I can't customize the weapons like the reviewer does.
I only have options to customize helicopter, buddies, vehicles, emblems and the avatar. Do I need to do something or obtain someone to be able to do this, or did that option just never make the final cut of the game. It's a pity if it didn't because it looks pretty damn cool to be able to do that with the weapons.
It's a side-ops, Gunsmith is the word, yes you can customize your weapons. Just be patient, it takes a bit if you're not rushing the Story and missions.
