Konami are playing us like fiddles!!!!
Still really looking forward to this game, wish I could have been playing it from tomorrow afternoon but it's a blessing in disguise in a way as I have real life work to be getting on with.

Isn't the human mind funny? We can wait several years for a game to get released but when we are down to the last few days we suddenly can't wait a minute more and try to do everything we can just for the chance to play a few hours earlier.

We just dont want other people play the game before we do. Thats the point.

That boat sailed years ago. People playing console versions a week or more before PC even with notional same day release has been standard fare for the last decade.

Konami posted on their twitter that it unlocks at 9 PM pacific time. So 14 hours from now.

@Neon: i know for you its not a problem, but i need about ~4,5hrs to download 28gb... and i dont wanna block my whole connection with that
@randir: so the steam page is right for once? meh, hoped for a early nz unlock or whatever they said a few days ago (in nz its already 1 am)

For me its 13 hours off, saying it will unlock in 1d 3h.

- There's no Preload
- There's no NZ time release
- It releases 5 AM UK time tomorrow

What does have to do with anything, there's just not going to be a preload for MGSV.
