sup guys,
you haven't heard from me for a while. A lot has happened in my life in the past couple months.
I decided to do a 2nd job training, I know it sounds crazy but I couldn't really get a job with my first one and working independently isn't that great. Anyway, I found a new job, the monthly wage is good. Starting on September 1st.
Anyway, this isn't about me. It's about my girlfriend. Yes, after all those fail dates, I decided to give up on looking for a gf. One day I met her on one of the car / tuning events and we started to date a couple months ago. She's a nerd x).
A couple weeks ago we saw some rich girl on facebook posting her gofundme campaign all over places to raise money for her to travel to her bf to Austrialia and stuff...she really made some money, which is sad.
My GF needs the support for a serious cause. I already helped her out as much as I could, but I can't do much anymore. Her wage is too low and I will start earning money again around the end of next month.
We decided to start a campaign but I have no idea how to reach out to people. Can you guys give me some advices? I already shared it on twitter, I hope that was a good thing to do?

So... why doesn't she shack up with you for the time being(couple of weeks/months only)?
Didn't you also mentioned a while back the you had some house (or houses) to rent?
I remember you having to deal with some serious crime shit or suicide that happened there though, so maybe using that one (assuming that it would be possible) wouldn't be the best idea.

Yea, we already rented out that apartment last year in December. I can't throw them out until December 2016 :/.
And staying with me in my little apartment for the next couple months isn't possible. I mean she was here a lot the last couple weeks and on the weekends she's always here, because it wasn't / isn't great to stay at that shared apartment of hers, it's scary. And I saw that guy... I'd lose in a 1 vs. 1 fight against him :X.... Well, there's no way to store all of her stuff (her bed, clothes & kitchen) here at my place. that's the issue :/

@Waargh, no that's not the only reason. I can't tell you guys everything, of course there are other reasons. Storing her stuff is just one of them. One of the other reasons is my family... since the house belongs to my family, I can't decide on my own who lives here and who doesn't. Some of you know that I had some troubles wiith my family in the past couple years. I will move out of this place as soon as I earn a bit more money, righ now I'm in a 1 room apartment of the building. I just can't tell you guys everything, sorry. It just not possible for her to live here for more than a couple weeks.
but then again, I am not asking you guys for money. Just forget my part in this story for a second. This isn't about me, it's about her. I just need to know how to improve the visbility of the campaign, just like sabin mentioned.
I mean, come on, you guys saw some dumb campaigns too...didn't you? At least hers isn't for a stupid reason. I swear to god, there's this girl on facebook that I know, her family owns all of the Peugeot car dealerships in south germany and she made about 16k on GoFundMe I think. It's sick & disgusting...
/edit: of course I'll let her stay here as long as it requires if it gets to that point and take all the shit from my family. It's not like I'd tell her "nope", lol... nah. But it would be better if she could get her own place...

uhm if the government doesn't support her because of she already got a job, but she earns not enough for a living, then they stock it up.
and if not cancel the under payed job and just get hartz 4 or arbeitslosengeld 2. problem fixed.
this campaing will lead to nothing and im sorry to say it but i don't believe half of it... atleast. don't let yourself get fooled. you are right i don't know her and you both are in love but this story sounds crazy.
go to the jobcenter and ask for help. we live in germany no one has to live on the streets or has to bag for food. go ask for help and you will get it.
im like you when it comes to relationsships. don't let yourself get fooled please. help her. get to the jobcenter with ther. even let her stay with you and your family as long as you can but this is too much. don't hang yourself in there like there is no tomorrow.

The story is true, 100%. I know it sounds fucked up, but that's the thing why we are making this campaign. Why else would we make this, it makes no sense to create a campaign if you're not in a shitty situation. Well, it makes sense if you're an asshole who just likes to rip off people, but you guys know me, I am not that kind of a person.
Well, I already told her 100 times to quit the underpayed job and to find a new one or get hartz 4 / whatever. She promised me to find a new job, after getting an apartment...well, let's see what happens.
If the campaign doesn't work...well, that'd suck. I will still help her with all I've got left. Somehow we will make this. She only needs to stay at a new place for a couple months, until I am ready to get an apartment with her together.

im not saying you try to rip off anyone. im just saying it will lead to nothing and you can easily go to the jobcenter tomorrow and get real help.
days, weeks and months will pass while you wait for someone to give some money... but if you go there tomorrow she will have money in the next 2-3 weeks and a own apartment in the next 2 months. there is help for everyone.
it could already had happend a long time ago if she already lived 2 months in a car... so much lost time for nothing. GO THERE GOD DAMN IT. i would drag her there if would be you

I remember trying to organize something like that for FireMaster a while back, but it didn't work out  
All jokes aside, I wish I could help you Kuro, but I'm really inept when it comes to mastering the social tools, and I really wouldn't know where to begin to solve this intricate issue :/
Is receiving help from her parents/close relatives completely out of the question? I understand that what happened isn't easy to sustain, life-changing decisions have been made and so on, but unless there's something that I'm not aware of, familiar bonds can be repaired and there's no shame in putting pride and old quarrels aside and ask for temporary help. I would definitely try that option, before anything else.

In Denmark if you do not have any savings you can ask the municipality(?) to pay the deposit(they wont always say yes though :/). Perhaps something similar exists in Germany?
Also if she felt threatened why didn't she report the guy to the police?

edit: she should be able to get support via "Caritas" or the "Frauenhilfe" in your City,they will at least tell her what kind of options she has to get some help.The fact that she is working does not mean that there will be nothing from the Gov (it depends on monthly income i think)
