Even if you think it's obvious you shouldn't post it. I played the game for 12 hours (mostly doing side stuff) and while I have my suspicions, I still don't know who he is. I'm very excited to play the story more, but I'm still waiting for the Miracle Patch™

@randir14 How long did it take you to do all the riddler challenges? I simply couldn't be bothered.

Not sure since I sporadically did most of them while playing through the story. Probably a few hours.

well i posted a wild guess and not really direct one in spoiler tag week before release -> not really my problem that this troll guess was right and they even spoiled it themselves in prehurrdurr comics and dlc

Actually that's incorrect. The only comic given out was the 0 issue of the AK web-series which was a prologue. The identity hasn't been spoiled/revealed or even hinted at in the Arkham Knight comic series which is at issue 19. It's mostly about Batman fighting other villains and AK stalking him sometimes.

Edit:
Forgot to add link to the comic series:

1 and 2 are still amazing.

There's a article about it here as well, although it just provides theories as there doesn't seem to be a official answer yet or how to say.

so uh... any speculation on how it'll play on a 7850 1GB on "any" setting with stable-ish fps since i might snag it up for cheap once they restock?

rest is 4790k/8GB ram and plan on putting it on my SSD.

btw is any of the offers for steam? just that i have both AA/AC and might as well complete the collection

The cheap ones are nVidia promo codes but you still get the game on steam

Ryzen 7600x/5600x/3600 | 5070TI/3080/3070Ti | 32GB RAM | LG 55OLEDC9/42OLEDC2 |

People have generally said not to bother even with a 2GB card in its current state, take from that what you will.

Yep, that's my personal recommendation unless you don't care about infra-low resolution textures on lots of stuff in the world.

Works on 2GB good, only downside are the low res NPCs in cutscenes. Aside from that it runs good on a 770 GTX.

The game is very VRAM heavy and you can tell the engine is optimized for the consoles and not the PC's as with the consoles all the RAM is shared and you can dump more in easily. Even with 4GB of VRAM there is some stutter when the batmobile (Has lots of textures to it) pops into scene.

That's correct. But I know that if I had a 4GB vram card I would've continued playing and probably be close to finishing the game now, as the texture streaming problem is substantially reduced when using the "Normal" texture setting and the "never loading texture" problem never happened to me when testing with that setting.

Yeah, it worked mostly fine on my 980's. On my 980 Ti's though there is no hitching at all though. Even on my 980's all I ever got was that stutter that happens when you call the batmobile. They could probably optimize the streaming of textures better so when the batmobile shows up it doesn't halt the entire game to load up the textures.

It basically seems like they didn't optimize the texture streaming very well for the PC release, because the size of the textures shouldn't matter. If it were done correctly you'd just have the typical UE3 texture pop rather then the game freezing.

tbh i think i can live with that since i just wanna dick around a bit in the open world without progressing too much.

the biggest problem i can't get over is basically a slideshow that runs worse than even something like crysis 3 on ps3.

if i can stay within 25-30fps i'm golden.
