Too bad the game is rather bad (feature and maybe graphic wise) compared to Tropico 4, according to several reviews/opinions.
Honestly, the biggest downfall for me was that they either switched or outright did away with their previous voice-actors. The new ones kind of suck, and that tight-knit "the gang's all here" sense is more or less non-existent now.
I don't quite know how I feel yet about the continuity of the islands "feature". Whereas in Tropico 3 and 4 you started on each mission "fresh", in this one your island status is retained from mission to mission. If you fucked up bad on the last one, you'll be hurting going forward, because all the stuff is saved.
The music and graphics are just as good as ever if you ask me.
Also interesting of note - they released 4 extra music tracks for both Espionage and Waterborne, but also 1 new track in each minor DLC, so this complete pack has an additional 18 tracks on top of the base game OST (for anyone that collects OST's like me )
