Better character details than TW2, better lighting, enviroments are just ok.
The graphics are hands down better on GTA V imo.

Thanks to whoever suggested the Galaxy.dll fix. That made the game work, but as expected, it doesn't run very well for me. Framerate is just not that amazing, it's decent with the lowest possible settings, but then there's also the sluggish movement (what in the actual fuck were they thinking?!) and the game keeps freezing constantly. Oh well... some day... maybe... Sad

Did you check the possible fix I posted last page? Might not be CDPR's fault at all.

Yes I checked and yes it's CDPR's fault. I don't have a Maxwell card and my 780 is overclocked and over-volted. I'm already overclocked and it's not under-utilised, staying at my full OC speed all the time during play.

finished the prologue, awesome so far Very Happy; sadly think ill get bored in the 2nd half of the game with all the generic side things, guess ill concentrate on the story

Did you try using default clock/voltage?
Not saying that's the case, but when i had my 770 OC'ed, lots of games randomly crashed/froze. So it might be that?

No and I don't intend to either. No other game crashes or freezes, just this one. Going back to stock would impact performance too much and I'd have to keep playing for the "random" freeze to happen anyhow.

I was wondering.. Did u flash ur gpu with a custom bios? I was thinking about flashing my titan with a custom bios (currently it is stable only at 1100+ core clock , anything above that even with +37 voltage I can set via afterburner is not stable) but considering that it is a reference asus card without any super coolers\ water cooling I doubt it's a good idea coz my gpu's fan would be really noisy. Laughing

2) SFFPC (streaming via Moonlight+ Sunshine)

Naw, stock BIOS, overvolted in Afterburner. I seriously need a new cooler though.. the 780 stock cooler is nice but it's very loud Sad

http://www.gog.com/game/the_witcher_3_wild_hunt_free_dlc_program

"Buy" it for free Smile and then enable them from galaxy. Go to witcher 3, click more and click configure and enable them.

Fullscreen + Setting "Power Management Mode" in NVidia's Control Panel to Prefer Maximum Performance has stopped all crashing for me. Before this, I crashed twice in a 3-hour span. Now it's been about 6 hours since I made the changes and no crashes at all.

If Control Panel doesn't automatically detect your game because it's on another drive, you'll need to manually add it. If you can't find Witcher 3's .exe file because you are new to GoG Galaxy like I am, this is the file's pathway:

(Your drive you installed it on):\GoG\Games\The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\bin\x64


Found this on redit. Worked for me. No more freeze/crash on inventory Smile

Is it that much hassle to set those options back? I mean, you could just give it a try after your next crash, at least you can rule out that your OC "might" be the cause if it crashes again after that.

Just like with GTA5, the gaming gods have been kind to me, no crashes so far in a 9 hour playsession. Though performance on my 770 has been sub-par from what i was expecting..

Do you guys like character movement ? It feels so unnaturally fast, strange, also mouse doesnt feel smooth even with this hardware thing on.
