RIN posted the Q crash is apperantly one of those triggers. Guess until 3DMs main man for this comes back there's only the ghetto crack mixing method to get the game playable with 'minor issues'. Seeing as the latest update fixed most problems, first and foremost the popular crashes, I guess pirates will be able to play without problems soon-ish.
i swear it does not crash when i go cover (q) (in mission or out of mission, same with shoot out of car).. like i sayd, i applyed teh update, but reverted the gtav.exe back to ..umm. one sec..

i tried this because some friends tested it and sayd its working fine for them. and indeed it does, at least for me now too..
if u want i can check the files all and make a list wich i am using...
but im not telling shit, i swear its working here...

i mixed that up, sry..
- i updated to the newest update, ie. v3
- i used teh v4 crack
- i reverted teh gtav.exe to the older --> 1.0.331.1
game runs fine atm, played for 6 hours and no crash

So you're using Update3 with Update2's GTA5.exe? And no q>cover crash? Hmm, interesting! Do you know if Update3 is actually working though? Are the changes/fixes listed in the changelog in effect for you?

Guess not, why else would the .exe gets update too ? Most games need that after a update.

Okay game crashes with a story related character switch with update3 and update2 with v4 crack. Now I cant continue the game.
wich mission?
because 2 of those switch-crashes are Game releasted not crack/update..

Problem: Crash when switching to Franklin after the completion of the mission.
Solution: Go to "Saving and Startup" in settings, enable "Landing Page" if its disabled and turn off autosave, then restart the game. And just in case do not use gasoline or explosives to destroy van, just shoot him with a machine gun until he explodes.

And see, here's another one for the pile; the Blitz Play crash? Didn't happen for me. I'm on Update2, I *did not* aim>throw a grenade at any time, I just used the G quick-throw option instead. Got all the way through Blitz Play, switched to Michael at the end, and no crash. Whereas many others are complaining about the crash and having to use "skip mission" to get around it.
This is what I was talking about a few pages back, in regards to the grenade throw bug crashing the game and how many are experiencing it but many are not.
Friend I play with in our crew got that crash many times got pissed about it me and the other guy in crew never had it we got it fixed by unparking his i7 cpu cores. Does not ever get that issue no more, only issues is the game loading session crash at random times, can be once a day or so.
But before that he would crash often when aiming in vehicles and throwing things etc etc.
Seems that nuveem has keys in stock but now they improved their security location check. So if the paypal is not from Brazil it wont let you buy the key. Anyone figured out the other way to do it now?

2 hrs and no heist made with friends...
Lagged so hard... cars were teleporting, falling on the ground after spawning midair, disconnects, timeouts, paused players - not really paused, just lagged hard and so on... 2 hrs wasted. I could watch paint on the wall or something...
I had small lags yesterday, but today... damn!
