I decided to skip it, seeing a lot of people said it was terrible and the score was a result of too nationalistic Turkish votes

If it somehow gets better comments on the forum I might give it a go.

it's not terrible, but it's not great either. I don't know why it gets straight 9/10s on IMDB.

It's very uneven. It seems like the director didn't really know what he wanted. The first half is a gritty and sad story and the second half introduced some fairy tale shit with cheesy hollywood scenes.

It includes retarded scenes, bad acting, bad CGI, bad action scenes ... I don't know if I'd recommend it to anyone. It's nice to watch but you won't miss anything.
