Amazing game indeed. I just started playing it. Graphic and art are incredible. Fight system is good also, not perfect but when i play the game feels a lot better then in youtube videos. Level design is great, and i like the story.
Climbing can be more challenging, also body physics and character movement can be more good.

I dont know why but feels the game like some mixture between Mirrors Edge and last DMC. also like the little details in environment and Dead Space-like signage around me.

Actually the game felt unique to me, from the music and setting/story to the memory remix sequences and combat, over all it was a great experience and i will eventually play it again.
journo fuckers never gave it any recognition in awards though, not even nominations.

One of my favourite games of last year, fantastic story with great gameplay and some of the most beautiful art design I've seen in a game in a long time. My only niggle was the hit-pause during combat and the limited amount of memory remix sequences - those sequences were great but too few in number and, more critically, you couldn't fail them. One path, one solution, infinite retries until you worked it out by trial and error.

well actually you could fail them.. kill the subject, change disaster into happiness, wake the chicks husband up and have them talk to each other, etc... unless you mean have failure CHANGE the story... but that seems like it would have been a nightmare to implement
makes me sad... kinda mad... that there wont be a sequel. i fell in love with the world, the characters, the story...
but because it wasn't a shooter, it wasn't brown, it wasn't a gta sandbox game or whatever - it just wasn't mainstream enough - it just didn't sell like it deserved, and DEFINITELY didn't get the respect and appreciation it deserved, not from most gamers, and not from reviewers... this is why we cant have nice things. grand ideas and amazing effort just don't count for shit if it isn't the same old crap everyone keeps playing

A "fail" just meant the memory sequence retried and you started over, often times at later stages during the remix. that's why I mean, there's no game over and no way to fail anything, the game just keeps, pushing you to get the correct sequence.

dull and boring are not 2 words i would use for remember me's combat...
between 4 different combos with 4 different styles of attack, with 8 (was it?) variations of each STYLE, to make your own unique combos, the spammer, the super moves... i honestly found it more involving and fun than the smoother and more refined combat of the batman games...
you could rebuild your combos specifically tailored to suit each different enemy or encounter... it was so involving and so much fun, i loved it. MORE games should have combat like this!

Maybe its your graphics card dying, because I didn't notice anything like that?
Different engine, different developers, different everything, I think, except the French connection I guess....
*snaps his fingers* ah HA! I have it.... I think your pc might be racist.

It didn't have a particularly good story so the fact it's been written (implied: all along) makes me think it's by the same writer and of about the same quality so
Anyway I don't think Capcom will greenlit a sequel so
TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"

Even if Capcom won't, they most likely will try to kickstart it, seeing how well the first one sold (compared to how little publicity they had before release).

Compared to how little attention they got before release, yes, it was a massive (and unexpected) hit.
That you might have personal problems with this game and it's story is another story

The fact Capcom never reported its sales and it didn't even chart in that month's NPD is all you need to know of what a "massive" hit it was.
