Today I was at the dentist for the first time ever (if you don't count the regular checkups). Got fucking cavities on two teeth, 3 holes in total Rage Didn't know what to expect, but I didn't feel a thing really, she has a really gentle hand and works pretty good. My other teeth are fine though, thank goodness. She put some medicine in first, to stay in the holes for two weeks, then she'll check and if all is good, she'll put the filling. Anyone else had cavities here? Very Happy

I probably do, but i won't go to the dentist unless it's an emergency. I'm not in the best financial situation, and the prices here are fucking insane. People even go outside the country to fix their teeth, and no wonder.

I feel you man Sad I wasn't that good financially as well, hence why I delayed mine too for a couple months. My friend from Denmark went to Germany to fix his teeth, cuz in Denmark it's so expensive it's cheaper to go to Germany and do it there >.< Insane.

Most of the time i say yes to local anesthesia, because i'm a pussy Very Happy
When i don't take one, i'm happy to have some nice teen assistant next to me. So i have to concentrate more to not get a boner, instead of feeling the pain of the drilling. Sometimes i also try to subtle spread my shoulders wider, so i can feel their chests or breasts

Not cavities, but fucking root canal. Hate that procedure and I lost one tooth to that already. Sad

It got infected and had to be removed and now(surprise surprise) my other tooth that has gone through the same procedure has now also gotten infected and my left cheek is bloated at the moment due to that. Very Happy
I'm forced to eat strong antibiotics and at the same time hope they won't have to remove that too. :/

Otherwise it's going to be expensive to replace both of them with a bridge or something...

Iv had lots of cavities over the years, and two root canals... thankfully most of them before I was 18, so free. And 2nd root canal was just before I turned 21 (we get 75% off). After that its expensive as fuck Sad

Well I'm back from the dentist and so far so good. She cleaned it and told me to come back in a month for a check up. Smile
Now to wait for the swelling to go away. Very Happy

Dayum, you're even worse than me. I waited until the hole got quite visible xD Though, truth be told these things should be handled as soon as spotted. Saves you a lot of procedures and money.

Yeah but in my case I didn't realize that it was anything wrong there until that day. As soon as I realized I went to the dentist to patch it up.

I went to the dentist yesterday. No cavities Smile. Had an x-ray, advice and a scale and polish (clean) and done. Free on the NHS too. You have to pay £18.50 for the treatment on the NHS if you are working, or 50 if you need a filling or root canal work, or 220 for anything else like crowns and stuff.

I went to the dentist for a checkup... he'll start working on my teeth on monday. it'll cost me 220 €. He has to take care of cavities, he has to do 3 fillings because my old dentist screwed it up... I fucking knew it. It was bothering me for a year.

I have to pay 220 fucking euros and spend so much time on that fucking chair. Noooo

Currently replacing the old amalgam ones with white ones Smile

I have 9 repaired teeth altogether. I had 8, but when I went to replace my dentist found another one -.-. Which was unexpected, but I wasn't at the dentist for over two years (yeah I know I'm stupid).

I only have 2 more to replace. It looks great, and she found a cavity under one tooth so I said: we're definitely replacing them all!

It costs like hell tho :\ 250kn per tooth (~33€). So all in all over 2000 kn, but it's health related, and you don't cheap out on your health Smile And it's over the course of 2 months, so it's bearable.
