I assume the "final" patch will be whenever they dump support for it, rather some sort of "now it's fixed" milestone. Given all the buggy/broken shit in the game and their lack of progress on fixing it so far, I seriously doubt much will change by that point. Pretty much what you have now is all you are going to get.
Besides, the game's most serious issues are design choices, and they are never going to be patched out.

The Exalted Plains region bug was supposed to be fixed in the last patch.
Not sure if the Western Approach landmarks thing is a bug, I seem to recall I managed to get them all with no problems. Been a while since I last played though.

I had issues starting the game when denuvo cracked the game, made it work with their fix afterwards. I'm afraid to apply any patches or whatnot, i might break the game, better off with some damn bugs than no game at all.

Are you starting the game from the 3DM launcher.exe? Because that message only appears if you run the DAI executable.
1 and 2 are still amazing.

The main problem is that if you explore everything and do all the side-quests you will outlevel the story missions by A LOT.

i dont see that as a problem, the combat is shit and i dont enjoy it, so i ll gladly go through everything like a knife through butter.
i enjoy challenge in a dark souls game, but here all you get are heavily hp inflated enemies that you have to hack away for longer.

Combat system is boring, true dat, but i enjoy wandering the areas, hoping for better crafting materials, because the loot is very under-leveled.

It doesn't really make any sense. It's like it is scaled for people not grinding any of the filler side-quests, yet most of the best non-crafted loot is only available via grinding filler side-quests....

Enemies level with you but in each area the enemies have a specific interval of levels they can have. So say an area would level with you between levels 10-15, but not after or before that. Of course some enemies / parts of areas have different intervals (for instance the dragons in the hinterlands). I think it's an ok system.

What a boring piece of shit this game turned out to be. There's absolutely no desire for me to move on after reaching Skyhold. The combat is even worse than DA 2, characters are laughably bad, the story and dialogue extremely dull. Looks pretty, but so fucking shallow and soulless. It's not even a proper open world, just lifeless places connected with long ass loading screens. Wasted 20 hours on this crap, hoping it will get better, but nothing. The trailers looked so good and promising. Fucking Bioware.

http://www.gamespot.com/articles/dragon-age-inquisition-getting-biggest-pc-patch-to/1100-6425303/
Quote: | In a post on its website, BioWare explained that due to the nature of the certification process, it can often take weeks after finding and isolating a problem to release a fix. In light of this, BioWare says it's going to launch a beta program for Inquisition's Patch 5.
"We want to open up our upcoming Patch 5 to a select group of PC players via signup in a closed, developer-like environment," BioWare wrote. "This not only allows us to more quickly identify and respond to future issues, but gives our developers a great, new way to work directly with our players."
Inquisition Patch 5 is the biggest patch to date for the game, and addresses a range of "key concerns" raised by the community. It adds the ability to bind additional mouse buttons and also introduces an auto-attack key for single-player. In addition, the patch adds a shader quality to the graphics options and introduces a slider tool to adjust the size of subtitles.
What's more, Inquisition players invited into the Patch 5 beta will have access to a "mysterious underground shop" called the Black Emporium (pictured above). There, players can discover artifacts, purchase weapons and accessories, and also alter their voice and facial appearance using a new tool called Mirror of Transformation.
Also included with Inquisition Patch 5 is a new party storage option to the Undercroft in Skyhold, as well as an "item tinter" that lets players change the color of their armor (see below).
In addition to these changes, Inquisition Patch 5 has "a number of other changes and improvements," though BioWare isn't yet talking specifics about them.
Inquisition players will be able to sign up for the Patch 5 beta through the Dragon Age Keep soon, BioWare said. The beta program will only be available on PC. |

You are not alone, im feeling the same way, just fired it up minutes ago, and quit after a few missions, i dont think i can even finish this game, and i finished DA2 and that game was repetitive, but this, this is on a whole new level, there is something rly wrong with this game for me, and i usualy dont have this problem with rpg's.
26hours in, and its bored me to DEATH completely, i cannot do a single more sidequest, i know i will enter a new zone and do the same things all over again, the main quest has glimples of the story here and there, its nowhere near the level presence of the story telling in the mass effect games, neither are the dialogs, its just like this game is a MMO with a backdrop backstory tied in to it, i bet this was suposed to be a 4 coop player game but they dropped it cause of reactions or no time for development, and the fact tha they kept it for a separated multiplayer only makes me even more suspicious, the game screams to be online so it doesnt bother with the story at all during this endless grinding ppl are loving so much..
It does look beatiful ill give it that, but it is very shallow and souless just like most areas in your average mmo.
For anyone that never touched an mmo online, im sure this is great, my brother put more than 100's into this on the ps4, he loves it, but he never touched online games like WOW and other mmo's and he still does understand why i would be so bored, but cmon, anyone that had its share of wow or some other mmo can see throught this clearly, it is an offline mmo ..
