Rumor has it you have to make a thread using nothing but caps in every subsection of the forum, you must use the word mushroom in each post exactly 3 times (no more, no less), change your avatar to that of a badger wearing a novelty hat (don't worry, this is just for the VIP process, you can change it back afterwards), create one riddle involving a banana, a nun and an irishman in the sexy section, a joke involving a midget and a pair of clown shoes in the golden oldies section, and write a short essay on why the atari lynx was the pinnacle of handheld gaming, which is to be linked to in your signature.
...its a pretty convoluted process, i know, but hey... i dont make the rules... its just how the VIP process works.

A VIP needs to nominate you for VIP for a start. Then you need to get a majority vote of yes.
There is an alternative VIP programme btw.
