Regarding the CPU, it is indeed older and for nearly the same money you get one of the current generation. But i would spend a bit more money on it, and go for a K-version (for later overclocking). For example the i5 4670K

For the GPU i can't really help, but definately don't get a 270x. That won't last you very long. At least get a 280x. I looked at what Nvidia has to offer for the price till 240€, and seems only the 770 is in that price region, which is an old card too.
Didn't Nvidia plan to release some new midrange card of the 9xx series?

He meant ATI sucks, and OP should rather get a Nvidia card. This is painfully obvious.

I5 3570 is the older Ivy Bridge i5 and it's more expensive than current Haswell based i5's with 3.4Ghz.

The RAM is 37.65€ per 4Gb or for both Dimms, so 37,65€ for 8Gb?

Each dim is around that price, but i can get it cheaper, its just a base value.

I found an i5 haswell 3.5 but its 40 euros more expensive, is it rly worth it? The guy on the store says its almost the same thing, but than again, i trust you guys more than him..

Unfortunaly this is my budget.. i cant go any higher than 650..

I have no interest also in overclocking, as i said, its a budget pc, im just trying to optimize it and make it a little bit closer to a decent rig like some of you guys have, but ofc, not as good, not with this budget anyways..

Well then the GPU should be ok. But i would still got for the newer CPU generation, the i5-4570.

Just saw you are getting 1TB for about 55€ Surprised
I would try to buy an external HDD and use the built in HDD instead. For under 70€ you get 2TB then. A company where i removed the HDD myself too, is CmMemory. They use Seagate Barracudas and Toshiba HDDs mostly. But you should look at Amazon for example, because sometimes you can't remove the built in HDD, and sometimes there is no direct warranty on the HDD itself (OEM product)

No clue where you are going or what you got out of that...
All I'm saying is: let's not make every thread that mentions a GPU turn into the same old tiresome 'fanboyism' drab.

I did extensive research and in every benchmark i have seen this r9 270x beats easily the 750ti wich is the best nvidia i can get around here for that price, so are the drivers that bad? I might consider going nvidia but i wont pay more than 180 euros..i can get the 750ti for 160€..

Will this be better than the R9 270x http://www.alientech.pt/product_info.php?cPath=180_19_20_367&products_id=21749

If i dont get a cooler for the cpu i can afford this card.

(please dont fight over it lol)

I heard the R9 can run pretty hot, but u also get bang for the buck but im willing to part with it and go for the 760 but i wont get any extra cooling on it besides the stock.

Also i dont want to spend more than 50-60 euros on the motherboard, is there any diference in getting an ASUS or ASRock , the latter ones seem to be popular for some reason..

Also in terms of cooling, without spending too much, is it worth get anything cheap for the cpu or this card in particular, how hot can this go on stock settings and stock cooling in the summer? Might i have a problem there?..

thanks for all the responses guys.. just dont fight each other plz, im willing to go nvidia or ati atm..i will be going to the shop tomorrow to build it so i apreciate the feedback i can get tonight, i dont have a pc atm and i need it to work also from home..

I live in Portugal, im going to a physical shop. www.alientech.pt but im also going to this place on the same day called www.microcenter.pt to see what the better build is from the two..

My goal atm is having at least the i5 5570 at 3.4 and i set that graphics card as a minimum on the r9 270x cause i think its a good price...

I want to have all components go at 650€ but im thinking if i can spend 50€ more on fans or a cooler or whatever is needed, im kinda clueless but ill go for 700€ if its not a waste to cool it off,, my place can go pretty hot in the summer..

http://www.alientech.pt/product_info.php?cPath=180_27_74&products_id=24711

Is it worth to get this?

I guess this is good for someone that isnt overclocking, but im not sure if its much better than the stock cooler -> http://www.alientech.pt/product_info.php?products_id=14896

Im not going to overclock it! I really just dont want to run hot.

Also the PSU is another concern ofc, i was thinking of that http://www.alientech.pt/product_info.php?cPath=180_14&products_id=24819

But im not rly sure if its any good, i wanted it to be good but silent and under that price range..

I'd really really wait for the GTX 960, even if it was just for a price reduction in the older ati and nvidia models. Stay with the 3570 iGPU and play some em0lators and Deus Ex (So Much Win) until then

the 960 should use the new gm206. the 960ti and 965ti still use the "old" gm204 in a slim downed version
