He's fucking awesome! I've asked if he could possibly upload the alternate client version too, but either way.. yay JB!
No idea what that is but I'll check on it when I can, for now the website is displaying error code 502 again so there's not much I can do.
(Been pretty unstable this month but on the other hand I have only checked it a couple of times but it's usually been down but I might just have been unlucky with my timing.)
EDIT: Seems it's back up again.
EDIT: And that's done.

I posted about it on RIN bud, but basically it's an alternate Windows version based on the Mac/Linux one, part of the beta branch Supposedly it fixes a few issues. Thank you anyhow, JB! I hope you had a great Christmas
Using the alternate version causes screen tearing and feels less smooth but the normal version works fine. What am I missing
Problem I have with every fricking RPGmaker title, stupid tearing. Really wonder why they can't even fix and add options when they are asking money for it while free ones tend to do a better job. /rant

Both of you, make sure "reduce screen flickering" is UNTICKED in the F1 menu. I get terrible screen tear with that enabled

Seen the thread this evening, thanks guys for making it happen, haha (JB )
I've just explored the (very) hostile environments a bit, encountering some seriously weird individuals, vile traps, dead people, undead dead people, and I'm still trying to understand the twisted story..but it's nice, in a completely fucked up way. (really cool music also)
I think the best aspect is the fact that you never know what to expect next. The game is a black box of insanity
I went back and checked my initial impressions about the demo and boy does the full game deliver. It's creepy and gets under your skin after a few hours of playing. Even the humour is so dark and bleak. And as ixi says, the very hostile environments sell the setting perfectly but the game has some really difficult fights. My party once died fighting a.... snake forcing me to redo a hellish boss fight again
A new difficulty setting has been added to LISA.
Terry will let you know what's up when you start a new game.
- This Mode allows you to save only one time at a crow.
- New enemies & bosses have been added.
- A new area has been added
- A new pain ending has been added.
it cant be put in a drawer, its so unique and bizarre, definitely cant think of any comparison.
even the combat, while being a classic round-based jrpg combat system, has its own flow and just feels different.
this game definitely isnt the kind of cheap product that just tries hard to be different while lacking in all other aspects.
it is a very lovingly crafted game and all the weird and bizarre aspects of it play along in harmony.
at times it can be very depressing and moody, the atmosphere is very thick, but it mixes it up with alot of great humour.
one of the biggest surprises of the last 2 years for me, although thats not really hard
Didn't play it so far but looks very good reminds me a bit of Earthbound or Mother 3, seems to be at least heavily influenced by those games.
Mother 3 also had a very dark story, i heard most Japanese fans hated the game cause of that they wanted a lighthearted game like Earthbound and Mother 3 was to depressing for them.
