Sucks to be dumped on Christmas. But if it didn't work out it didn't work out. Better to be out of a relationship that's going nowhere

What the fuck is up with all the moaning this year? Everywhere I go "Christmas sucks", "Boohoo I'm in a bad mood", "Moan, moan, more family dinners to be bored at", etc.
For fucks sake, grow a pair and MAKE IT FUN.
My brother did the exact same thing while we were having dinner at an old childhood friend's home. He thought it would be fun to moan about his ex left him 10 years ago and how he hasn't enjoyed a Christmas since. Well, how about I tell you a little secret: if you want to have a good time, you will have a good time. If you want to feel miserable, you will feel miserable.
And people are so down about having to spend time with Christmas, they deserve a big slap or even punch in the face. If you didn't act like an anti-social dick, perhaps these family meetings would be fun, shock horror!
So yeah, stop being such emo bitches and make the best of it. It's about enjoying good food, exchanging presents, watching good movies on TV and catching up with family and friends. Is that so bad?

I chose to be alone, and it's been pretty good so far.
Bought a few chocolates, made a few desserts for the season, cooking some better food than usual, spending it at home playing teh gaems, watching movies, reading and organizing some shit between my external HDD's since earlier this week CrystalDiskInfo "alerted" me to the status of one of them.

I'm not talking about a façade, I'm talking about all the people who seem to think they ought to feel like shit and tell everyone else about it to share in their unhappiness. It only makes it worse and makes others feel worse and it's selfish and silly. Just *try* to have a good time - I've had some terrible Christmas holidays and you know what I did? I watched some good movies, enjoyed a few good dinners and it took the edge off. Much better than whining about it and making others miserable as well.
And I was depressed for FOUR years and still didn't ruin Christmas for anyone else - I joined in with the festivity and in the end it perked me up a little. I've had lonely Christmasses as well and just made the best of it. People just need to grow some backbone instead of feeling social pressure where people believe it's a reason to feel like shit just because you're not sitting around a christmas tree singing carols while passing around gifts.
All this doesn't include really bad stuff going on, obviously, but from what I've read on this and other forums, people will moan just because of tiny things like "it's the same dinner as the year before"  .

My day went from ok to shit pretty fast. Was at my moms place during the christmas, and now when im back at the apartment my mouse has gotten fucked up. No clue what the hell has happened from the 20 minutes trip from there to here. jumps all over the place when i move the mouse. White people problems, but you asked!
