Is it worth anything? Sorry for my ignorance, I simply have no clue.

I cant say much I had boxes and boxes of comics, and magic the gathers cards in the mid 90's...but still:

That pretty much answers your original question. Sell them if they're that much worth. Or you could wait 50 years for their price to rise divinely up and sell them for one hundred billion dollars.

They're worth a great deal less than you might think, I'm afraid. Values go by rarity, not amount, which is why people sell 500-1000 Pokemon cards for $50-100. It's the rares ones, and not just shinies but 1st-run or limited-run cards, those are the ones that go for nuts amounts.

~edit~

This should help when you're selling;

Oh i know that those i have aren't the ones that are worth 1000$+++, but i have quite some shiny ones that are rare, such as Charizard, which alone is already worth about €20,-
So with all those shiny ones i got and collector ones (like the special Mew card €5,- etc), i expect at least around the €150-€200 worth in total.
But i'll have to sit down and go over them 1by1.. I'm hoping to get at least €100 out of this.. Or maybe i should just keep and cherish the memories i had with them Razz
