RPG Maker, bud. The entire suite was being sold for less than $10 a few months back and once you own the maker, you own a license to sell any game you make with it. Sites like Amaranth exist and thrive on selling retail RM titles Smile

Haha, thinking the same now, I already started some prototyping just to see if I can make some things work. Art skills are bothering me because I can do backgrounds/items just well but characters are pain in the ass, and the fact that you think about it too much doesnt help - some one will make a hit game just with some fucking random squares and shit while I will be trying to do the best possible thing at the moment Very Happy

well i made some basic rpgmaker games half-way as a hobby over 10 years ago when it was new.
i have a pirated unity toolset lying around here and was thinking of working with it and buying a real license later on if the project is coming together in a satisfactory way.

but yes, i could just as well try to do something simpler with rpgmaker, since i already have experience with that.

Yup! We have that lovely "Unreleased Steam Games" thread on RIN that seems to be attracting all kinds of releases Very Happy Shame most of them are just copy-paste from Small-Games... blegh, that is terrible with its awful premium hosts.

(First, thanks again Sabin for the gift for this Smile)

Played this for about 3 hours now, and i think i am near the end of the first chapter (there are three according to some guide)
It's not bad so far, although overall a more depressing and dark atmosphere Surprised

Gonna play it for more later on
