i mean, of course, a rank system which separetes you from others by your skills, and not the one that gives you extra firepower and more guns by doing it. What i'm looking forward to see in this game is a system what valve uses in cs:go comp mode.
no extra power, no extra gun/ammo, no unbalancing bullshit.

match making is cs:go just like pugs were CSS anything else is just dicking around and warm up, although I come from a competitive cs back ground for a long time now.
As for the ranks, it's still a good system, putting some comical names next to it doesn't change that. I agree if you play with wrong people it can be bad but no worse than any other online fps. As you get higher ranks you filter out "most" of the shit.
but back on topic, really liking this more and more as I play it

No, actualy as you get higher ranks you get in the big shit. I am Master Guardian 2 and almost every game have at least one hacker, but very often its team of hackers. I prefer to play with the noobs and the CoD kids from the Nova tiers rather than with the hackers on the higher ranks.

yeah but it's not because of rank it's because gaben let them use hacks. In every cs:go deal hacker percentage goes skyhigh. And the game's vac security sucks ass in order to prevent this. Every hacker has usually 4-5 csgo account... The only real security in the game is overwatch and it processes really slow.
Valve should change its cs:go protocol but, of course, they won't change it because they make lots of money from this strategy.

I'm a mge and would rarely, if ever, play with a hacker. Although I question some peoples ability to distinguish between a good player and a hacker. however it sounds like we don't appear to get hackers like the European players seem to talk about.

That's because mostly russian players use cheat. People from balkan also use a lot.

It depends. The PvP can be very toxic but the Co-Op is really nice experience and 99% of the players there are mature and play as a team, with communication, support, etc. Tbh I've seen bad players in the coop but I never saw a toxic one, I never saw a troll or griefer.

So, who else plays the full game (I mean not the mod)?
I'm gonna have quite some free time from 10th onward, and wouldn't mind playing this a bit if we can assemble a proper team.
