They have been saying that from the start, though.
I found DX:HR to be quite enjoyable. Too many hacking opportunities wreaked havoc on my OCD's but other than that, there was nothing particularly wrong with it.
this is the problem with gaming, especially pc gaming nowadays. acceptance of mediocre crap just because games are rare these days.

I got so wrapped up in people either being excited for MMO or bummed in this thread I somehow missed that. It seems a lot of other people did as well. hehehe.

If they defined 'Universe' as something other than an MMO (and every other bit of speculation), then I don't see how it could possibly imply it was an MMO
We only had the confirmation that it's not an MMO today

Pfft.
Everybody knows that you'd love a Deus Ex MMO, don't even try to deny it!
I can't see anything that unbelievable in this screenshot.Keeping in mind that the game with this engine (Deus Ex) is probably 2-3 years ahead and this is a PC screenshot...
I'd KILL for a DE1 remake in this engine. Same voices, music, skill system, inventory, everything. It's up there with a FF7 remake for me.
Installed FFIV because all the praise it gets. Uninstalled at the first in game scene :/ I wonder if that game actually looked good or bearable at any point in time.
looks like a blurry piece of shit concept art and i see this game is gonna maintain the same disgusting piss filter that HR did, HR was a mediocre mess of a game and i expect this to be the same.
I really liked Absolution, and the the engine worked flawlessly for me. Quite some time ago, I even said it would be great for DE, to make the world livelier. Great thing, that we can have that.
