It happens...

you revote the same parties... and then they dont agree ... again...

LOL

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

I wish!

In southern Sweden we barely get any snow and when we do it melts 3-4 days alter and then we ice-skate to work (or break our necks trying). >.<

I didn't vote because I just didn't find any party that suits me Sad There's only left and right radicals Crying or Very sad Razz

That being said: I was quite surprised I could vote here, since I'm still voting for Belgium.
And for Mortibus: consider the south as Friesland in weather terms (just a degree or two warmer)

But I vote for my country! Cool Face

More serious note: I am of the same opinion as you BUT... I will never vote uneducated or against my beliefs (I can drop some things here and there but not the core).
So far: there is no lesser evil for me over here. It might be down to me lacking the details in knowing about the parties involved, but what I went over: it seems everything is either sticking to the same or radical and I cannot in good conscience vote for that.

So they'll have to wait when I'm more up to par with the details in politics in this country and when I'm a full fledged citizen. Kinda find it a cheaty system to allow me to vote when I'm still citizen and voting for another country. Razz

@Morphineus as a EU citizen you can vote on the local level, for county (länsstyrelse) and municipality. Only citizens of Sweden can vote for the national parliament, as far as I know.

Ah okay, it wasn't clear in the letter. As it didn't mention any restrictions. I expected it to be only local, but my fiancee (who is Swe) assumed it was also for the national parliament. Smile

They must have seen a documentary about politics in Italy and fell in love with it Cool Face Laughing
It could be worse though, look on the bright side Ankh, at least you get to vote. We didn't have such privilege. After the old PM went to social services the parliament thought that elections were too expensive and auto-elected the new guy (leader of the rival party) who then made a joint venture with the other party so we don't have parties anymore and we can't choose anything. Oligarchy 101 xD

Ugh there's still lamp post stickers everywhere around here for them and others with similar opinions.
(I guess my neighbors might possibly have interesting political views.)

Thanks for the tip! Poker Face
Laughing

I expected it would be some 80 or 90 year old leading a party like that... nope same age as me, a 'Nazi' from the 90's. Guess he wasn't popular and went to extremes to get noticed. Laughing
